Reality tells me that there was a time when this dude picked up a guitar for the first time and couldn't play anything! BUT, my ears and eyes tell me this dude came out of the womb shredding! No one can bend those strings like Stevie could!!

As a musician his guitar skills and beautiful soulful voice hasn't been remotely reproduced by anyone. Jimi would be proud. BTW he played on guitar strings that we call "cables " bc they are very thick and are high above the fretboard which means it would rip a normal human beings fingertips off! I know this personally. ...;-) missed his concert by a month. The things we love will always leave us but the memory we hold shall ever be dear. RIP SRV. Soul has no color. ......

While I am old enough to remember Stevie I never had the privilege to hear him play live. I have heard that what he played was called Texas Blues, inspired by some of the greatest as already mentioned. Just found your channel and loved the reaction. You also need to check out an all acapella group called Home Free, they are a phenomenal group of guys whose voices are unbelievable. Best is to watch their run on the Sing off. Also Post Modern Jukebox feat. Haley Reinhart is another food listen. They have done Seven Nation Army & Creep which are both incredible. She is also another underrated singer from American Idol. Her voice is Smokey, Sultry & Sexy all at the same time. The best description I heard was a guy that said he needed a shower and cigarette after listening to her. Keep up the good work.
