They're pretty special. The gentleman with the long, grey beard is Rick Rubin, He's one of the most influential and successful music producers in the last 30+ years. Give him a quick Google and see the groups he has worked with.

Amazing documentary this particular clip came from is a much watch. They needed an extended break after this recording session. They’ve been trying to finish this song for years. They came to the conclusion that it could only be finished after living the amount of life they’ve lived. They needed to go through everything first before they could truly record this and put it on an album. Beautiful moment in the documentary.

Music isn't heard ,its felt in the soul... If you can't feel this your soul is dead... Watching the emotions on your face you definitely felt it

Yes, this song oh so pulls one to close your eyes while hearing it to visualize the beautiful pictures they paint with their lyrics. My BIL introduced me to them 15 years ago and I have been a fan ever since. I have seen them in concert nearly a dozen times and my wife actually went to HS with them. They are considered native sons of North Carolina and you can hear why.

This is the last song I sang to my younger sister when she passed in July 2023. My husband, parents and I all held her as I sang along to this most beautiful song (my favorite band). Your reaction brought me to tears; thank you for this heartfelt video.

I am a long-time Avett Brothers fan, and as much i love all their music, No Hard Feelings is just on another level. You beautifully described the song. ❤❤ Thank you for the video. I hope this isnt too morbid, but i want it played at my funeral.

As I watched this video your reactions were the same as mine...I was incerdibly moved! Every so often there is a song that rises above most every other in its ability to convey so much more that one could every image friom a three minute song (Imagine by John Lennon), and in so doing It reaches into your soul and awakens the beauty of the most basic sentiments that are so often only thought about in passing, causing us to reach a new level of emotions. Thank you Avett Brothers and thank you for being so raw and candid while sharing your first reactions.

I am fortunate to live in Denver, and I have seen the Avett Brothers several times at Red Rocks. I was also fortunate to sit in the front row for one of the shows and meet Papa Avett. This song came out just A few months before My father went through his final months on this earth. It sustained to me And meant a great deal to me during that time

I feel like it’s the true sound out for helping us forgive. No hard feelings is what Jesus taught us and gifted us like no other could ever nor will ever. Forgive, it’s our work to do here.
