Dolores, the singer, wrote this song in her early 20’s as a direct response to an IRA bombing in England which saw the murder of two children. But she was a proud Irishwoman, opposed to violence from all sides in the Northern Ireland conflict. She sleeps with the angels now, having left us tragically four years ago. Blessed be the peace makers.

Roselyn, what a beautiful reaction. The song is a protest song, a cry for help for the violence to stop in the the Northern Ireland after more innocent children were killed by a bomb. The zombies she is talking about are these dead kidnaped children seeking equity and attempting to not have their martyredom forgotten. When she say "it's not me it's not my familly", she use a phrase to say in in a shaded way, that we are talking a out child abduction, not war of adult men. She say the words many of these child try to say when they are captive. The war in 1916 was also taking many young lives of innocents, yet the war in our heads is a spiritual war that the children spirit are fighting. They are living zombies

That’s… not true. First of all this is an Irish group. So in the music big you see the IRA graffiti on the wall. This was an Irish organization fighting for their freedom for years but often caused more losses on there own side. In 1993 two children were killed in a bombing by the IRA. One was three and died immediately and the other was 12 and was rushed to the hospital and was declared brain dead five days later. This song was written and finished in 1994 in direct response to this event and the footage taken of the soldiers were real from the actual fighting only days before the cease fire. It was their first music video. The gold outfit and little angels was a nod to Michelangelo’s statue of Mary holding Jesus where Dolores (RIP) was in a protective role of the children. Please don’t come up with weird satanic shit and kidnappings out of nowhere in lieu of actual issues

I grew up in South Kensington in the early 90`s. bombs were going off a lot- one of my earliest memories is being pulled out of a classroom because of a bomb scare- This war was REAL it killed people not long ago- it was bad bruv! please research it......en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_London Poor girl, her family spent the day with her, they later said it was the happiest they had seen her for years, she left them and went back to her Mayfair hotel suit, ran herself a hot bubble bath, got in it with a bottle of Vodka and drank herself to death
