If you would like to find out more about how they started the band I would suggest the TEDx presentations of 2016 and 2017 were they talk about the making and the struggles and negativity they received for forming the band. And also they perform some of covers and original songs. Very talented even at so young age.

We say Commander Pau...in The Warning Army. Many times they play minimal drums and bass, while Dany sings. Dany is fully capable of fiery solos but recently they have been absent in favor of chording, rather minimalist work, as that is what the songs seem to call for. You hit on the essence of TWB song creation magic-focus on what the song needs, not what their egos want to play. So, we get sonically complete work, dare I say it, like The Beatles did. I am eagerly awaiting the new album, due in late June.

In October 2022, I first discovered The Warning through the official music video for this song! There was a big smile on my face like yours. I'm not a reactor, so I was able to dive into their catalog of songs and then saw them perform live in a small venue 7 months later. This rabbit hole is deep! While their superpower is performing live, their complementary superpower is songwriting. I will be traveling to Mexico City next February to see their full production performance. What song to react to next? The two songs that cemented the deal for me were CHOKE and DISCIPLE from the same time period. But seriously, it doesn't matter what The Warning songs you react to. They have no bad songs!

MTV is still looking for their roof! They were the only non-nominated band to play at the VMAs. The first Mexican band to play at the VMAs. They skipped a night opening for Guns n Roses to play the VMAs. The short version of their names are Dany (Dan-nee) guitar, Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) drums, and Ale (Ah-leh) bass guitar. They all sing. They all play piano. All are classically trained pianists. Any song from the 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert is good. They have 50+ original songs released and all are good to excellent.

The drummer also sings lead while still drumming on a lot of songs, and the lyrics are typically deep. This one asks if it is the right thing to engineer human evolution.

Currently somewhere around 30 million views and earned a nod from Metallica. Recently, Metallica asked them to be on their Blacklist album with a remake of Enter Sandman. Since they started so young, be sure to note their ages when watching their videos. The bassist might be 9 or 19 years old (which she is currently). The drummer, 12 or currently 21. Loved your introduction to The Warning! Bands will come and bands will go. There will be one hit wonders and enduring starts. But this group of sisters, is a once in a lifetime phenomena. The Warning was invited to perform on the MTV VMA second stage the night before the main show. They had to cancel opening for Guns and Roses to make it to MTV. They weren't nominated for ANY awards. This performance of Evolve was done in 1 take. They walked in, plugged in, and showed MTV what MTV used to be. I have a feeling that it won't be long before they make the main stage. Their new song and video of Automatic Sun should qualify. Easily!

This song sealed the deal for me (new recrute to the The Warning Army fan base). And these young ladies stole my Metal heart, Especially Pau (Paulina the drummer). Speaking of Pau: Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. The hosts said that she "dominated" the voting of "a hard category to win". So yeah, I am a huge Pau fanboy !!!!! There were not too many real fans in attendance because the network only gave a couple days notice that they were taping it and the band was not allowed to talk about it beforehand. They played 2 songs and were given up to three takes but the sisters nailed both songs in one take. They made new fans that night including the producers of this segment. One of them couldn’t stop saying “Holy shit!” after their performance. And they weren’t even nominated for anything. NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.

Great to see a reactor who is well versed in song writing, appreciate the balance between instrumentation & lyrics in a song. The Warning have altered my perception about solos in rock. Here is what I posted on another reactor's channel regarding Deep Purple's latest release "As a die hard Deep Purple fan of more than 4 decades its intriguing how The Warning's philosophy of its all about the song - a solo will be there only if the song requires it - has altered my appreciation of a classic rock song like this. Were 2 solos really necessary?" Not only The Warning's subtle songwriting but also their profound metaphorical lyrics make us pause and ponder. Evolve is about whether the evolution of humans is going in the right direction or not. They do not throw in waste of time shredding solos unless the song requires it. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto KZbin. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. I loved your reaction and insightful comments. Welcome to the Warning! This is a power trio of Mexican sisters. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! This KZbin video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. Oh, I like it when a reactor can pronounce Spanish vowels properly. "Teatro" is another big one; Many 'Muricans just pronounce it like "Teetro". Also, thanks for having DPA's names right there in front of you. So many reactors don't even try to remember names until four or five reactions down the road. Respect! I could recommend two dozen songs, but I won't. I'll just say that the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert is professionally filmed, performed, recorded, and mixed, like no other rock concert (that I know of). Superb 1st-time reaction to The Warning Erol!! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album). Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. These ladies from Monterey Mexico have been rocking it for 10+ years since they were young children. They have opened for the likes of Guns 'N Roses and Muse, and now they currently are on a headlining tour in Europe. I think they're headed for superstardom, if the fates continue to align.

Nice you finally got around to discovering them, it's like you don't realise you need The Warning songs in your life until you hear them - and you can't help but keep going back! Welcome to The Warning and TWA. I'm late to the party so just some personal notes...Best live band I've ever experienced. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have a single song in their catalog that I dislike or would skip. They don't make bad music. Not only are they fantastic writers/composers/ and performers, they're also some of the nicest down to earth people I've ever met. They work hard for their fans and treat them like family. The fan base is out of this world. Very loyal and family centric. Very similar to the RUSH fan base. I usually don't subscribe on the first reaction, but the smile on your face said it all. Their sound is definitely Rock, and while it mostly hovers around the Hard Rock part of the Rock spectrum, you will hear some songs touching on Heavy Metal, some with Punk elements, and a few ballads as well.
