NOTE: I'm sorry everyone. I couldn't get out of my own way on this one. I was just so stuck on the concept album thing. This is another song I missed. There's a saying "missing the forest for the trees" I'm so caught up looking for something that isn't there, I miss what is there. This happens for the rest of the album by the way. so I apologize in advance.

So the rumor (which has never been confirmed) has always been that this is about their relationship with Victoria Records, a small Monterrey label. They were all set to sign a contract when Victoria slipped in some unwanted terms. They felt betrayed.

As I understand it, "Unmendable" is a dis track. They wrote it after contract negotiations with an unnamed label fell through. XXI Century Blood isn't a concept album. Many of the songs run along the same theme of concerns about the world, but not all of them. It's also worth noting that many of The Warning's songs are very intentionally vague lyrically. I think this works, as it's easier for the listener to find their own meaning in the song.

Just listening to this song is almost boring compared to seeing it being performed live. In my view, the best performance must be as the first song in their 2017 TEDx appearance. I'd say it the same with all their songs. They are meant to be seen performing them and not just heard performing them.

I agree live is how everyone should experience The Warning. Although, I do enjoy listening to the studio recordings when I am busy working. ✌

Like Ale said in one of the documentaries, they strive to get the sound they produce on stage, into their studio recordings, but they never did...until ERROR. Yes, their LIVE performances are the best, but it's his channel and he wants to do it his way. Even if we think it is not the best way.

Do some research dude. If you don't want to before, do it after. Also, remember, these girls were children when they wrote this. Maybe consider listening to concept albums by song order. I'm not mad, just disappointed in your judgment.

By song order??? Yea. I’m a bit disappointed myself. I didn’t handle these last few songs well. A combination of things.

What a song says is the least important thing. It's not important to understand what they are trying to say. This song is way better than a 6. If you want to understand what someone is trying to say go read a book.

The purpose of a song is convey a message and/or feeling. And artist do that through the music and the lyrics. Right?

It’s another strong song, especially when played life. You can see they still feel the pain that this record label had caused. But next time do a bit of research. That might help you understand.

This album is about the different things in the 21st Century that they would like to see changed. .The album is not a concept album. To me this song is about fake friends who.use you, then dump and run. Fairly simple, nothing complex. Bottom line is the song is about the music and not much deep hidden meanings like a few of their songs. I heard once that this song refers to the differenr producers that approached them wanting to be friends and Help them find success, but of course they had to change to do that.

It's a metaphor for better or for worse you'll get what you deserve. You got lost when we gave you our trust and you left because you chose them over us. That might make it hit harder. They like broken phrasing like I suggest even though this song doesn't do that. I don't mind criticism but I feel like you just don't like them, which is fine, but it isn't interesting.

Its about The récord labels, the offers they did to them when kids, the greed on contracts and the Changes the industry wants to make on them. A especial middle finger, and there we have why they don't appeare any more on open american TV. So the six point five is back to you, and the intention of this song.
