This is legit one of the greatest songs of all time….. the bumping 808 with so much resolution on its melodic tones coupled with the chopped vocal is pure GOLD.. this is a timeless classic… I’m a music and audio engineering major (not that it validates my opinion) and this joint is on my top 100 songs of all time list… but kid u gotta listen to “Poppin My Collar” and “Slob on My Knob” next!!!!! Second one Def would get demonetized though Hahahahahahahahahah

Not only youngsters but people outside of Memphis don't truly understand just why this song was such a big hit outside of the obvious. It took YEARS for Three 6 Mafia and Eightball & MJG to finally collaborate with each other let alone acknowledge each other. Anybody who knows Memphis rap knows that those two groups put this city on the map.

This is definitely the clean version LOL. It almost hurts to listen to. I'm not too old but I do remember profanity not being common in music videos back in the early to mid 2000s. You won't hear it on the radio either. Maybe it popularized in the late 2000s when artists were doing their own videos so they could say whatever. Six dudes rapped but they're all apart of a different group for the most part. Juicy J, DJ Paul, and Crunchy Black make up about half of Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck is apart of G-Unit, and 8Ball & MJG are a duo. They're all from Memphis hence them getting on this song together.

Three Six Mafia is one of the few 90s/2000s rap groups that got a lot of love from metalheads and punks who didn't even listen to rap. Them, early Bone Thugs and Wu-Tang had massive crossover appeal due to their grit and rawness.
