The "G" in G*59 Records stands for "grey", referring to the mix of races, primarily white and black (which to me shows how there's no difference between us), in the area of New Orleans, Louisiana, where the label originated. "59" stands for Interstate 59, a highway that separates New Orleans into two geographically, demographically, and racially segregated areas.
@hereiam4599Ай бұрын
in the recent podcast with theo von they talked about the origination of the grey 59 name. the grey it to signify a gang that they hung out with and grey was the color that they wore and the 59 is what u were mentioning

New World Depression(extremely close to being #3) 5. Long Term Effects of SUFFERING these albums are in order by in which I am most likely listening to the whole thing instead just a hand full of songs. if you want some 2015 songs I 100% recommend these 2 EP's, "I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel" (3 tracks) and to clarify since they have 5 EP's with this title I am talking about the first one (the 4th one is the final track of "I Want to Die In New Orleans" and its just one long track with 3 songs). and the other EP I recommend is their EP where they collab with the artist named Pouya, "$outh $ide $uicide" (5 tracks)

wiki says the boys only have 4 studio albums; I Want to Die in New Orleans (2018) Long Term Effects of Suffering (2021) Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation (2022) New World Depression (2024) which you have now done half of, though i would *personally* add Eternal Grey (2016) and Stop Staring at the Shadows (2020) to the "album" portion although wiki has them under "mixtapes". Regardless, the rest of their solo mixtapes are all must listens as well, Gray/Grey (2015) 7th or St. Tammany (2015) YungDeathLilLife (2015) High Tide in the Snake's Nest (2015) My Liver Will Handle What My Heart Can't (2015) Now the Moon's Rising (2015) Dark Side of the Clouds (2016) And to top it all off they may just be the kings of EPs, Kill Yourself Parts 1-20 I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel 1-5 Black $uicide 1-2 Grey Gods 1-2 Grey Sheep 1-2 $outh $ide $uicide DirtyNasty$uicide 1-3 Radical $uicide Shameless $uicide Live Fast, Die Whenever and most recently the amazing Yin Yang Tapes Genuinely can't go wrong anywhere. I really enjoy your reactions so far to $b, 2nd video Ive watched of yours, 1st was their most recent album but IF I could get ANY constructive criticism it would be to 1000% listen to the lyrics a bit more, not just vibe, and im sure we'd love to see a FULL Reaction to the ENTIRE song, not the cuts/edits, maybe its just me. I feel like a lot of their word play goes over brand new/first time listeners of their music. They may flow quick and sometimes slow it down, but I think its essential to really catch all their lyrics and how much they are really spittin, overall fuck with your vibe, keep it up! Also, you may be a little younger based on how you seem to enjoy music a lot but you're missing how great some of their samples are. For example, Genesis the beat is literally built off Super Mario World from Super nintendo gaming console, all love

There are so many albums to get into - The older albums have a very different sound due to the heavy drug usage and demonic themes - It’s amazing how all their songs can sound so different but still have the iconic “suicideboys” style. The deeper you go into their discography the more you will fall in love with them 🔥🔥 Also 25:35 is a reference to some fans criticising their new music and saying they were much better in 2015 when they were deep in the drugs and depression Honestly their sound has evolved so much and personally I enjoy every single song they drop because they are all so unique
