this is unreal! So ethereal and had me feeling like I was almost floating along with the harmony!

I love the original but this is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard. I’m a harmony arranger and this blew me away and made me cry with joy 🥲

The King's Singers are phenomenal! I'm so glad you're reacting to them now! Their covers of "And So It Goes", "Loch Lomond", and "New Day" are ones that you should definitely check out.

Will check them out

Both groups are wonderful. Voces8 are a newer mixed group, and the King's Singers are a long-standing male acapella group, who've had a number of changes of personnel over the years. Tim Foust is a long-standing fan of the King's Singers - he says they were the first group he heard doing acapella arrangements of non-gospel music, and he loved that he could tell how much fun they were having singing together.

I listened to the King Singers for years. I think the founders were at Kings College together, lots of changes but beautiful. Voices8 sound great as well. Thanks for this beautiful reaction.

The Kings Singers have done so many good songs. Check out La Guerre, Esti Dal, Widdicombe Fair (very funny song), Of all the Birds, Who is Sylvia? Fine Knacks for Ladies, MLK

A good one for Voces8 would be Lux Eterna. If you like acapella, check out The Real Group's amazing live performances of It Don't Mean a Thing or the Count Basie Medley. And for an ethereal experience (with headphones of course), Westminster Chorus with Sure on This Shining Night (7:10 version).

The first time I heard The King Singers was in the early 90's singing "Blackbird" . This group was founded in 1969 and the members have changed over time. Blackbird was sung by the earlier group and this is a good example of it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6jOkqV3rKdjjZo

The Chris Evans lookalike is the amazing tenor Blake Morgan-an American who is the best voice in the group, imho!:)

Oh, you are infor a treat if this is new to you. If you liked this atmosphere, Voces8 singing Os Justi by Brucjner might be nice for you as well. It's one of the ones I loved performing in when I had functional ears.

Allthough it might not be reactor material...but absolutely should be, I want to share a few Acapella/Choir tracks with you. Some of them you might know, but some are just gems spread on youtube, waiting for someone to pass it on to those who understands. The harmonies are divine. I hope you will give them a few minutes with closed eyes, and just enjoy. Again, thank you. From Denmark with harmonies. VOCES8 - Balulalow - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4PYaY2LlpqpeM0 - the ending is witchcraft. The wavering and blend of notes just stretched into the end, is amazing. VOCES 8 - Abendlied - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXqykpqAp96An80 - heard this many years ago with the Cambridge Singers. But VOCES8 is doing a fantastic job with it. Tears... VOCES8 - Sleep - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZaviGdpiNakmKM - allthough Mr. Whitacre singers are among the best in the world, I think VOCES8 is doing it justice. VOCES8 & King Singers - Lullabye . kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4bYnptsq8yFnqc - never thought this collab would happen. But it did. King Singers - There Is A Flower - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZiWqJSgfZqnnpo Eric Whitacre - Alleluia - Live at the Union Chapel - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnvEmoZ9dr-ZjZY - starts at 3.28 - this makes me emotional. These singers must be the best in the world. GLAD - Be Ye Glad - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4fQgHesmJeHhMk - Live from a church. Just to prove that their blend is real. But it really is UNREAL. GLAD - God So Loved The World - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rquVo4h5Z9Jga6c GLAD - Easter Song - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJjFhICNg9x8a6M This christian band, is truly amazing. Now, I´m not much of a believer, but I am a musician. And these guys are unbelievably talented. They have been around for many many years and made a bunch of records. But their acapella stuff is really something else. I just gave you a few. MaxQ - sadly there is no really good live recordings with these guys, but this is the best barbershop quartet there ever was. And everyone should humbly just listen to this to understand how good these guys are. Their tribute to Peter Pan - You Can Fly is fantastic. kzbin.info/www/bejne/onbQnHp9iMaVp9k kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5DLpIqrnteHaK8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6qkeml4m9mChNE Whatever you do with it, atleast I have passed it on, like you do. Thank you.

I am not interested in Captain America, never heard of. This is English in it stile and singing, very un-American.
@QofyReacts8 ай бұрын
If you’ve never heard of captain America then you’d miss the reference wouldn’t you? PS: it has nothing to do with America
