It's official...The spooky season is here, thanks to VP. What a phenomenal performance. Great story, arrangement, narration and production. And yes, the fact that it's acapella, blows my mind.

This is the 3rd Michael Jackson song Voiceplay has done. Man In The Mirror, The Way You Make Me Feel and this one. There are no copyright issues with MJ songs. Man In The Mirror was the last video J None did as a member. He left that day for boot camp in the navy. He now sings in their chorus. Friends On The Other Side was the first time he sang with VP as a feature when he came back from boot camp.

Voiceplay is the full package... they didn't want to detract too much from the original - as everything there is iconic. So they will always do their own thing with tidbits as a nod to the original. Yes, Geoff does narrate - and he does do scary stuff! Eli is also a voice actor... versatile and highly talented bunch! 🌹🕊

I enjoyed this. VoicePlay performances are delightful. Those dead eye contacts as they turn into zombies are freaky! There is a running joke with Layne and carrots and J. None over the years. Did you notice the carrot through Layne's brain? Kathy is unrecognizable in her "floor zombie" makeup.

If you haven't seen or don't remember the original MJ version, it's worth a watch. Even 40 years later, it's still a pretty impressive piece of work.

I think the minimal dancing is more this is as much as they can learn easily, they all claim to be bad dancers and there are entertaining clips of them trying to learn the few dances that they have had to do.
