Yay, a great choice. Last year I listened to this song over 43,500 times, according to Spotify! I sleep to it, every night, headphones on! It was in my number one VoicePlay slot until "Valhalla Calling" came out, now it's a close second! Back row, left to right. Cesar De La Rosa, Guest artist Jose Rosario Jr. (Those two actually went to school together) and Eli Jacobsen Front left: Layne Stein, Geoff Castellucci. More on them in my other post.💙

All of them performed at Universal Studios and/or Disney World in Orlando FL for many years. And still sing at Disney World from time to time. They're all fantastic actors, singers and voices actors. Left to right back.... Cesar De La Rosa - baritone, tenor. Josè Rosario Jr - guest, tenor. Eli (el Lee) Jacobson - tenor, rock tenor, lighting, arrangements. Front.... Layne Stein - beatboxer, baritone, arrangements. Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci - bass, arrangements. Voiceplay are independent so do everything themselves except intricate makeup, cameras and audio mixing. They've been together for many years. Changing members here and there. Always constant is Geoff and Layne who have been friends since middle school. Eli joined in 2010. Cesar in 2021. At present they have 4 members so they collaborate with various artists for the 5th. Depending on who's in the video is the year it was made. I look forward to seeing more Voiceplay videos. All are fantastic and you can't go wrong with whatever you decide to do. By the way..... Voiceplay will be premiering their new video tomorrow, Friday the 19th at noon est..... The Way You Make Me Feel featuring DeeJay Young by Michael Jackson. It is absolutely fantastic. Geoff Castellucci, the bass, has his own channel where he sings solo with instruments. He clones himself 3-4 times for harmonies. Each with their own names, ranges and personalities.... Jeff, Jeoph, Goff and Daryl. Long story on how that came about. But basically he named the first 3 in his video "Way Down". Then he needed a name for the th clone in his video "Ghost Riders In The Sky" and that's when Daryl got his name. Geoff brought back the ghost riders ghosts a few months ago for his video "Unshaken" when the ghosts were still alive. His latest video is "Big Iron" with him and his clones. Just released a couple weeks ago.

The one whose voice you love is named Cesar. I recommend their cover of Creep to hear him really highlighted as a lead vocalist.

Yes and also his solo on "I Can't Make You Love Me".

We call them the theater kids of acapella. They don't always go full out with costumes and makeup, so you might want to check out some of their more sedate stuff. You liked Cesar's voice, you will love him in their version of Creep. Jose came back and did Drunken Sailor with them. Trust me!

I really enjoyed your reaction- thanks! Yes, Voice Play is a great name for them as they are the theater kids of acapella music. They are from Orlando Florida and all the members and their frequently featured guests have worked as performers at Universal and/or Disney theme parks. They work without a record label or contract by choice so they have complete control of their creative expression. I recommend "Valhalla Calling" for your next reaction- trust me

The joy of VP is that they have such a huge body of work and it is all of the highest quality - so you can choose your genre and pick to your hearts' content. They cover most genres. My personal favourites are their rock covers (Carry on Wayward Son, Kiss, Dream On, Nothing Else Matters, In the AIr Tonight etc. etc.) . This is going to be a fun and highly satisfying rabbit hole! When Halloween comes (they are the Kings of a cappella Halloween) - you will have loads to react to there too😉. They are amazing - have a good day! 🌹🕊

VoicePlay covers everything from pop songs to video game themes to Disney songs/medleys - they've got something for just about every musical taste! While not every video will include full makeup/costumes/sets etc. like this one did, they will entertain you. I'll limit my suggestions, just so I don't end up recommending everything in their catalog: I Can't Make You Love Me - the Bonnie Raitt tearjerker, featuring Cesar (the guy whose voice you liked) in his breathy, emotional style as a lead Nothing Else Matters - the Metallica song, by an a cappella group! The Dragonborn Comes - from the video game Skyrim The Little Mermaid medley - excerpts of songs from the Disney classic movie Phantom of the Opera - from the Broadway musical

Excellent reaction. It helped a lot that you were familiar with the original. My head canon is that we are watching spirits of pirates and perhaps innocents as well -- like we saw in the _Pirates of the Caribbean_ movie. Part of this is the shackles you noticed Cesar was wearing. i suggest you react to their cover of _We Don't Talk About Bruno._ In addition to its general excellence, you'll get to see Cesar in an entirely different and comedic light.

Great reaction! That thunder about halfway through was the world's recognition of the talent of this group and just had to chime in adding its own special effects! It's hard not to sing along (or thunder along as the case may be) with these guys. Everything they do moves you so completely in one way or another, and it's always a fantastic experience! More VoicePlay please!!!

VoicePlay are getting better with every song they make. And they’re really funny, too. My recommendations for your next VP reaction would be Drunken Sailor (so much fun), Valhalla Calling Me (intense), Sleeping In The Cold Below or Seven Nation Army (both great music and great setup). I would also recommend to react to Geoff Castellucci‘s (that’s the bass) solo performances. I See Fire for example or Monster Mash.

VoicePlay's members have all performed at Disney and Universal in the past and some still. The featured guest is Jose Rosario, Jr and he performs as an actor as well as in musicals. You can see him again with VoicePlay doing Drunken Sailor. Try Valhalla Calling, Tennessee Whiskey, I Can't Make You Love Me, Nothing Else Matters, In the Air Tonight, Creep, an apocalyptic trilogy over 3 yrs starting with Warriors (Imagine Dragons), Dream On (Aerosmith) and Seven Nation Army. Also check out In the Hall of the Mountain King and also Classical Chaos, 2 Halloween songs over a couple of years, Classical Chaos is this year's entry along with Thriller and Be Prepared.

Liked and subscribed! I already see lots of great VoicePlay recommendations in the comments, but I don't see the Moana and Greatest Showman medleys, Don't Stop Believin, Queen in five Minutes, or We Don't Talk About Bruno, all of which are fantastic. You literally can't go wrong with these guys, though--pick anything in their channel that catches your eye and you can rest assured it will be well worth your time.

Here we go. Sorry this is so long. But I like to be thorough. Okay, here goes! Some unofficial rules for listening to Voiceplay, and some info as well. I just came up with them on my own, but after years of being a Voiceplaya, I've found they're necessary for optimal Voiceplay (and to a degree, Home Free/Geoff Castellucci as well) listening. If you've already got some of them down, know I'm just posting the list, not criticizing your reactor skills! The rules: #1) VERY important! ALWAYS watch to the very end of the video, or at least a ways into the patrons scrolling. Often times it may LOOK like the video has ended, but there's an outro. Also, watching to the end lets you see their awesome cover art, hear the karaoke cover, or just listen to the music some more! #2) Always leave the closed captions on. Geoff's wife Kathy (who helps with their videos, she also appears in some, such an amazing woman!) has hearing loss, so sometimes there will be little hidden gems in the CC. #3) If you pause a video to speak, rewind it ten seconds before you start it again, to make sure you don't miss anything. #4) Don't look away from the screen, or close your eyes for more than a second, because, again, you might miss a visual gag or clever moment. Their videos are chock full of them. #5) Don't go into their videos with expectations on what the song will be like, i.e., that it will be the same as the original. These guys put their own spin on things. The only thing to expect, generally, is to be blown away by their sheer talent. #6) Unless you have a REALLY great speaker system with stereo sound, ALWAYS wear good headphones/earbuds with Voiceplay and Geoff. They do amazing little tricks you can only pick up with those hearing devices. Plus, some of Geoff's notes are so low you practically can't hear them without headphones. Okay, now for some info on the group. One of the greatest things about Voiceplay is their videos ARE NOT COPYRIGHTED! They want people to enjoy and react to their videos (and sometimes they will watch the reactions themselves)! Oh, and FYI, Voiceplay is: *Geoff Castellucci.* (Said Jeff Cas-teh-lou-chee) He's the bass, with long hair. He has a solo channel of low bass covers, well worth checking out! His lowest note, currently, is a B0. You can hear it in Voiceplay's "Valhalla Calling." You almost feel it more than you hear it. *J. None.* The African American fellow with the crooner's voice. He got his neck broken in "Oogie Boogie's Song." He is currently on "reverse leave," he is away from the group singing for the Navy, but frequently does videos with VP when he can. Some say he's no longer a member, but I feel like he still is. *Eli Jacobsen* (pronounced El-ee, NOT E-lie!) Tenor rock god. The bald gentleman. *Cesar De La Rosa,* their newest member. Joined in 2021. He brings the feels to every performance! And he flirts with the camera, and it flirts right back! *Layne Stein,* their beatboxer. Sometimes he sings, and it's always a treat to hear his voice. He's also known as The Carrot Lord. He has another talent you will discover. I won't spoil it, but you can see it in "Warriors," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," and also "Nothing Else Matters." (Yes, Voiceplay did an acappella cover of Metallica.) Glad to see you enjoy them! As we all do, the surprise even those of us who have been their fans for years! My favorite Voiceplay line-up is with Cesar and J. None. There have been different line-ups through the years, so don't be surprised if the core members' faces change as you go back farther in time. With J. None on a sabbatical of sorts (the Naval Choir asked him to sing with them), they have different guests for each song. Here we have Jose Rosario Jr, their seafaring rogue buddy! But fear not, because they always find the PERFECT guest for each song! I could tell you all sorts of facts and opinions about each member, but I'll let you discover them on your own! Enjoy! I know we will watching you! 💙

Oh goodie! A new VoicePlay reactor for me! Subscribing so I will get your future reactions! I do want to suggest that you check out their two newest videos. The first one is very character/theatrical driven. They've done a video entirely in pieces of 'classical' songs. Tells a bit of a story without any lyrics. It is called "Classical Chaos". You might consider watching their video of "Hall of the Mountain King" first as 'Chaos' is really part 2. And then we have their very newest which is an entirely different vibe. More of a straight song, although they still are doing their own twist to it. Just not the theatrical production you might get on other VoicePlay videos. Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel". It is simply gorgeous with simply yummy harmonies!

Thanks for the Reaction. VoicePlay is IMO the Best. Keep reacting to their stuff and I see 100k in your future. If I can suggest another artist since it appears you are getting into music. A 3-Part Trio. Harry Mack. Marcus Veltri and Ron Landis. They are incredible, you will be SHOCKED. Here's part1, enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpavaHSVrLF1epIsi=qn6pCANBg4NRnZj6
