What do you think VoicePlay's most elaborate video is?

@@AceofBadeReacts i think the two with the forest BG were amazing as they were classical pieces..no words yet a whole plot was going on😂

Define elaborate

@@AceofBadeReacts Layne physically dragged in many actual trees into the studio for the Hall of The Mountain King video in addition to everything else in the scene. Everyone is in makeup, costumes and prosthetics and there's a number of effects used throughout. They reuse most of it in the sequel, Classical Chaos. Both really awesome videos.

I think many of us think that the two classical pieces they did are there most elaborate, partly because of the insane make up and the attention to detail of the set. Another one would be Valhalla Calling because of the incredible CGI backgrounds the Eli did. The only real things were the guys themselves and the bench and tables. Everything else Eli created an unreal engine.

Dragonborn (Skyrim) must be up there with what people have already mentioned....

This was not filmed in the studio Layne co-owns. All information is in the video description. Rachel actually played Ariel at Disney in Orlando for five years. She also played Belle for five years.

Oh wow so she's a Disney Princess(es)

Elaborate? I can pick 5 maybe. Hall of the Mountain King, Classical Chaos, Valhalla Calling, Dragonborn Comes, Drunken Sailor. Now if you want most elaborate arrangement, Wicked medley, The Way You Make Me Feel, True Colors.
@janetdw2 күн бұрын
I would place Hoist the Colours above drunken sailor, I think probably because of the arrangement and how passionate it is. It wasn’t as an elaborator set, but as of production as a whole I think it’s right up there.

@janetdw You're right, Host the Colours is fantastic. I should have added it to my elaborate arrangement list.

Fantastic arrangement and so much fun! Hard work as well... wonder how long it took Geoff to de-purplefy 😄. Layne, Eli, J and Rachel all brought their absolute A-game! Their sets and production are all them... so multi-talented!! ⚘️🕊

This has always been my favorite Disney medley that they did. I love how they retold pretty much the whole story and added so much humor. Every time I watch it I try to watch one character for all the reactions to Eli coming on as Scuttle the seabird screeching his lines. BTW, actress Pat Carroll voiced Ursula in the cartoon. She has a pretty deep voice, but not as deep as Geoff’s ! You mentioned that they’ve been around since 97 so I thought I’d let you know they recently released Stand by Me and the featured artist this time is Mykal (Michael) Kilgore who was their tenor one back in high school when they would enter singing competitions. He left shortly thereafter for Broadway and has had a very good career. He also appeared as one of the crazed hyenas in their video Be Prepared from the Lion King released a few months back. Off topic: Since Songbird is a Disney fan, she really needs to check out the productions done by PattyCake Productions. It is co owned by Layne (beatboxer) and Tony Wakim (their baritone from about 2010 to 2018). They both love Disney and Tony worked there for years. Their Villains Lair series is based on the cartoon villains who have been banished to a creepy castle and are plotting to get their power back so that they are in control. It’s original scripts, original music and it’s all done by them with their small staff. Tony sews most of the costumes as his mother was a professional seamstress. They have also done others that are Disney related: several are done with snippets of the original story and music by a specific artist. My favorite is Michaeleficent: the story of Maleficent mistress of evil set to songs by Michael Jackson. She might enjoy Beauty and the Bieber which is set to Justin Bieber songs. My favorite moment is when she sings “you should go ahead and love yourself” to Gaston 😂. You might also check out Gaston by The Bass Gang. It’s pretty hilarious. PattyCake Productions just released their third “Evolution of” video. The first was the evolution of Sleeping Beauty, the second of Ariel, and this one was the evolution of Elphaba the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. Jessica Vosk who played her on Broadway is their guest artist which is amazing. There are cameos of versions of the wicked witch from a variety of productions, both stage, screen and that includes the small screen from Once Upon a Time. (Another Tony favorite along with Hocus Pocus😊). This comment was already long. My mistake was I typed it up before you made your last comment. I did get all the way to the end!! #TheLittleMermaid

@@karenponchak5304, I stand corrected... I just checked with my keyboard, and it was indeed a D5 down to a D2. Won't count the D1, though, since it was layered in.

That's really cool. I will say I can't read music and don't know the scales like that unfortunately
@johndeeregreen459214 сағат бұрын
@@AceofBadeReacts, no scales to know or reading music required, in reality. Just a number associated with each octave. C1 being the first C on the piano, up C8, which is the highest C on the piano. If you play guitar, the low E is E2 and the high E is E4. Which, interestingly is the typical range of a male bass singer. A guitar is tuned to E2, A2, D3, G3, B3, and E4.
