That mood that you described, the disappearing in the music, and just closing your eyes and really immersing yourself, that is exactly the effect that a lot of their music, and a lot of progressive bands that I enjoy tends to impart on the listener. And yeah, they have other heavier stuff as well! They have 3 full length albums that are pretty much all excellent.

In regard to interpretation, I am pretty sure it is about mental battles (which can absolutely be like a war) The reason it sounds so uplifting and peaceful at the end is, it is the last song on the album...haha....it is a beautiful album. I was just listening to it the other day while cleaning my room!

Spectacular! This is from 2015. If you'd told me that in 1985 I went into a coma for 30 years and woke up and Pink Floyd had never broken up and this was their latest work, I'd believe you. This has the same kind of lush instrumental layering and incisive lyrics.
