As a history/trivia note, Warren G was the artist that caused Dr. Dre to decide to break away from the infamous Death Row Records, that was run by the infamous Suge Knight. The story goes, Suge Knight assaulted Warren G, supposedly slapped him. Suge Knight was known to do violent stuff like that , in that, Dre said Suge Knight also pistol whipped an engineer for rewinding a tape too far. Anyway, Dr. Dre said after Suge assaulted Warren G., and after the pistol whipping incident of the engineer in the studio, Dre had to get the hell out of Death Row, and thus came Dre's Aftermath label , where he started doing his own thing and working with Snoop, Eminem, Ice Cube, 50 Cent and the rest. Nate Dogg has passed away, he died of a stroke/heart condition I think, but you can hear Nate singing in many of the old school West Coast tracks (pull up Snoop's "Lay Low" for an example, that's Nate in the white hat kzbin.info/www/bejne/npbCiXRtpbOEfqM ). Nate Dogg was never a great artist on his own, but always singing on West Coast Raps with Dre, Snoop, Cube, and all the others, he was a "must have" for the famous artists mentioned above who needed that smooth but macho singing voice that worked so well in those West Coast rap songs. That was also Nate Dogg on "21 Questions" with 50 Cent and, Nate Dogg on "Shake That" with Emenim, and the ultimate tribute from Ice Cube, in the lyrics of his song "Gangsta Nation", with his group West Side Connection.... "BETTER GET UP ON IT......CAUSE IT MUST BE A SINGLE, WITH NATE DOGG SINGING ON IT" -Ice Cube.

@@ParanormalVeteran Truth brotha!! Yeah this is such a cool channel especially for me, a cat who grew up on R&B/Soul, but also got up into Rock and other stuff because MTV came out when I was in college, so its much fun commenting with people on all the the music genres I got into. For example I play a little guitar and spent the last week having some good conversations after the twins posted Van Halen's "Jump", after Eddie Van Halen died. So much fun getting to chat with all the guitar lovers, amazing how all these genres influenced my "youth", and so much fun looking back, (Nate Dogg was "my boy", and at the same time, David Lee Roth swinging on that cable in that video "Panama" was Crazy!!!) Haven't had one toxic conversation or ran across any hostility on this YT channel yet, its amazing the way music connects us all, it's kinda like the only medicine we got in 2020.
