As someone who loves Wintersun, pick a song not fussy. Maybe they didn't tell you because Wintersun are a story telling band and thought maybe you needed to hear stories before experiencing Wintersun. My number 1 band Sonata Arctica tell stories through their music, I would never throw them at someone not used to story telling through music. Kamelot are a story telling band and someone not used to that wouldn't like Kamelot. Glad you like Wintersun.

Well guess what, the lead singer (jari), that guy with the amazing voice and who can hold the breath for ages, well he lost ca. 15% of his lungs due to an operation after tuberculosis during military service. Still a beast and other worldly being at the mic. Great reaction and even greater dad joke Lord Jimmy.

Jari (the singer and composer) plays every instrument except for the drums on their studio albums. Dude's only got two hands though, hence the synth track playing in the background 😁 I strongly recommend you check out "Time" next! 🤘

Jari's a genius. You should do more Wintersun. I suggest the song "Time" from that same rehearsal and the song "Loneliness" lyrics official video. Loneliness is one of my favorite songs of all time, very emotional song. Cheers from Portugal.

Kai had the laptop there for the symphonic tracks in this session. I'd definitely check out the other two songs from the Sonic Pump rehearsals, and if you're feeling particularly adventurous, a full album reaction of The Forest Seasons. Not to forget the first album, which is amazing, too... Anyways... Just stumbled upon here, I guess the almighty algorhithm knows I like Wintersun alot. Another Finnish band I strongly recommend to check out (if you haven't already), is Insomnium. 'While We Sleep' is an awesome song, as is 'Heart Like a Grave'. And lastly, subbed, liked and all that good stuff!
