Im a tipped employee and ive had the problem proving income for forever. Is there a way to get around tax statements? I dont report tips. If I did its literally 25% of my income. Paying it would mean cutting my savings for a (down payment), by 50%+. Is it even worth it to report tips so I can prove income if it means cutting my down payment savings in half? Govt always keeping the little guy down. It just seems stupid to pay govt so that a I can get a loan, and making that payment just ruins my savings for the house I need a loan for. Sounds stupid to me, but what do I know? Im only debt free with an 800 credit score, making $80k-90k but cant get a loan for a house. Shit its even hard for me to rent! Maybe I need to buy remote and go cash. I dunno help! This has pissed me off for years that Ive given and come back to housing several times.

Gov saved country from all wars, don't cheat system. Get smarter about it. Just your share. Vets in wheelchairs is who your cheating. Go get a government job or work part time. Just pay it. Cheating leads more cheating.
