I felt that they would have like the multi leveled home better. I saw almost that the husband was really biased on a new build cause he likes more of a modern flare, while his wife kind of had a biased look because her love to old builds, but she still had an open mindset. I felt the wife had almost no say in which house she wanted, while her husband was on the sidelines pressuring her to get the new house. Might work in the end, but from my standpoint I believe they would have liked the older house better.
