It's natural to feel sad when we see little creatures under our care get injured or die. We've had chickens for a good while and have lost some to predators or disease no matter how hard we try to protect them. You are right - its part of life and I feel blessed to be a part too no matter how difficult it feels sometimes. Love seeing how far you have come!
