It's normal here. 😅 People love to go out and spend time with their kids. Probably that's why every place tries to cater to the kids. The klcc park amenities are one of the examples.😂

The best family town is Subang USJ, you can just live there without worrying of needing to go out of town to get anything, because there are 5 - 6 mall nearby and the area has alot of shoplots as well. And the biggest Sunway mall located there. Chill place to live.

Google for all you can eat Korean BBQ and a ton of authentic Korean BBQ places will pop up. It's very cheap... all you can eat for less than RM50 per person. The one you went to is not that good. If there's anything you're unsure of, just ask any of the staff or any other the other patrons... they will be more than glad to help you out. People in Malaysia are generally super nice and helpful. 😄

I'll leave a quick comment. (edit... after typing it all, it's not really that short... d'uh) Meet up with some locals, get them to show you the local stuff, how you should be cooking the food and what not and then you'll be learning a lot lot lot lot more than what you are trying to do with trial and error. 😛 BTW since you are so near to AEON, walk about 500m away and go shop in AEON. That's like a totally full sized Supermarket & Departmental Store all in one. Final tip... take an MRT to Cochrane and you'll find LOTUS's there it's the cheaper Supermarket which I was talking about. IKEA is there as well. The name of the Mall is MyTOWN. I'm sure you'll like it there as well. Enjoy!!!
