Brilliantly made video, Karl. As one who's fairly new to video editing, I learn a lot from how you interact A roll, B roll, voiceover and music. Antarctica... What an amazing place!

Karl - thank you so much for your fantastic videos. I’ve found them to be such an inspiration ever since coming across your channel years ago. Not only is the quality the best I’ve seen of any traveller, but the story and narrative constructed makes me feel a part of the trips themselves. God bless KZbin and their algorithm!

Your brilliant editing and soundtrack as usual --- but the most fun of all --- you and Paddy --- my two favorite youtubers in the world --- on the same adventure, wow! What a delight --- to watch the same Antarctica boat voyage -- but through the eyes of two different, entertaining, and charming film makers. Your wife's roast of you --- priceless!

Another amazing video Karl. I really enjoy them, but what I enjoy most (and hopefully you will) is that you're inspiring my 12 year old daughter to want to explore the world, and be a travel film producer when she's older. Thank you! We're doing a very similar trip to your Europe video from a few years ago this summer....interrailing and going to Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken and doing some of the hikes you filmed. She's going to make her own little video, in your style!

The landscape is just unbelievable - I think if I was there I would have trouble comprehending what I was seeing and would just be standing around with my mouth open forgetting to film! As someone who gets travel sick on the train I think a youtube video is the closest I'm likely to get to the Drake Passage, so thank you for capturing it so beautifully and letting us feel the spirit of adventure from the safety of our sofas 😂

The "Intrepid" company was found by two Australian friends, from Melbourn. That makes sense, because all the staff on board look like people from Oceania.
