On Valentine's Day, Komi makes chocolate to give to all her friends. Tadano really wants to receive chocolate from Komi, but Komi is too shy to give it to Tadano. In the end, Komi gathers up the courage to give it to Tadano. At first, she says it's just friend chocolate. then reveals that the chocolates she gave Tadano were the ones that turned out best. Although Tadano doesn’t think much of this, Komi realizes that her saying that is effectively confessing that the chocolates were romantic, and in turn that she loves him. In embarrassment, she runs away, leaving Tadano in the dark.

I'll do you one better. SPOILERS FOR KOMI MANGA: This one I haven't gotten to the confession and I've read I want to say 250 or so chapters. Season 2 ends at chapter 129. I read online and apparently I was getting close to some sort of confession chapter but I had to take a break. Binge reading that many chapters broke me, as much as I loved this one. I heard they do get together and the manga is still being released but that much time for them to officially get to be a couple is too much. I want to get back to reading the manga where I left off so desperately, though. It's still fun, just tedious to get through.
