Led Zeppelin= PURE Rock n Roll (NO "metal"). They were heavily inspired by Blues. They're considered to be one of, if not, the BEST Rock bands of all time. They were only together approx. 10 years due to the accidental death of their drummer. They felt they couldn't replace him. The magic of Zeppelin was in the 4 members as a whole. In those 10 years, they created 8 legendary studio albums. Recommend: "Immigrant Song".... It was used in a fairly recent BLOCKBUSTER movie ....You'll probably recognize it ;)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Led Zeppelin, one of the greatest, and most influential rock bands of all time. Fasten your seat belt. I like that you started with this song, one of the best pure rock and roll songs of all time. In the album version, the breakdown section (all the weird sounds and moans in the middle of the song) is longer... it was shortened a bit for this video. People will give you lots of suggestions, but a few "musts" are: Stairway to Heaven When the Levee Breaks Kashmir Fool in the Rain Dazed and Confused Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You How Many More Times Since I've Been Loving You Some less obvious, but among my favorites: In My Time of Dying Nobody's Fault But Mine

Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Led Zeppelin. It’s always good to see a Newbie hearing the greatest band to ever grace the stage. Led Zeppelin music is like no other. Every song is unique and different. You will hear hard Rock, Blues, Folk, R&B, Ballads,Reggae, Soul, Metal, Psychedelic Rock. There are no bad zeppelin songs.Every song is creative and touches your soul a little differently, So here’s what I would suggest. React to ,”Since I’ve been loving you “ 1973 live at Madison square garden. Stay with the MSG performances and do,” The Song Remains the Same / The Rain Song”. Then “ Stairway to Heaven “, “Rock and Roll” finally “whole latta Love” all live from 1973 msg. By now you will be blow away thinking how could it get any better. And it does each song gets better and better . They are Timeless masterpiece. Now your a fan and you really should start from the beginning with Led Zeppelin 1 play that album in its entirety. Then go in order to the second album. Each album is unique and different from the last. This journey will open your mind and it will change your perspective on Music in general. Enjoy the Listening to the greatest band ever, They were then, they are today, and they will forever be on a different level than any band

In the days before drum compression made every song a drum track with coincidental music on it, John Bonham stood out as someone who could deafen his own band, let alone the audience.
