So often Angelina has a great jazz band behind her. You can see that musicians bring their best when they’re backing Angelina. She’s no secret to the fans or the bands in Norway. They know they’re watching history being made by Angelina. At this same concert, watch Angelina turn it around completely with her beautiful cover of Cry Me a River. Is it just me, or was AJ's voice at age 11-12 her best? She was fantastic at an even earlier age and has developed her vocals even more as she got older, but to me, there is something especially great about her songs at 11 and 12. She is truly a once in a lifetime talent!!

Richard, there are a number of us who feel the same way and I am one of them. When she won NGT, the judge said to her Don't think, Just sing! And at these ages from 10 to 12, She was doing just that! She was natural, letting loose and showing her grit and her passion. She exuded confidence at a young age. Just an observation, but I think in current days sometimes she is thinking when she sings, and as with any teenager, they sometimes become a little self-conscious at times. She has developed her voice further, but faces some challenges. In the past couple of years her voice has deepened considerably and she is faced with learning how to use her new voice at times. With that said, yes everything came naturally to her when she was younger. It still does but she's having to deal with changes that she is learning to master. And I know she will! There is no one like Angelina!

She was at an incredibly high level at 10-12 (indeed before that) : I think her summer concerts last year show she is still on an upward trajectory... and some of her tiktocs are amazing... Love is a Game for example is one of my very favourites.... Just to say I am not worried that she peaked early :)

I understand where you are coming from but I don't really agree (which is not a big deal). I feel she has been and is developing her artistry at an incredible rate. The difference I think to see is that she is now more consciously choosing her direction and her own style. In every aspect she is becoming of age and in my opinion this is how it should be. Inevitably she will lose some fans along the way as she will make artistic choices which are not up their alley. That also is not a big deal. I much rather see her make her own happy choices and turn around again different directions than see her being stifled into the same genre every time, even if it means that I might not like certain choices.

@@pietersbart I agree with you for the most part, but my come into particular was not related to the genre she is singing, or that she is pigeonholing herself. It was strictly related to the challenges she has to deal with that make her voice different now than when she was 11 or 12. It is clear there is a difference and that she has evolved her skills as she's gotten older. But the reason for the voice difference can be anatomic or based on choices she is making. Either way, this is a point in her career where she has to adjust to factors that change as you get older, And also experiment with her choices. They say she won't be fully developed till 25 so she has time. With that said, I luv her!

Her hair reminds one of "Where the Wild Things Are." I love this song, and especially Angelina Jordan singing it. Hey, she took off star-embossed tennis shoes for Back to Black (with KORSK), took off boots for Suspicious Minds. So, you know.... This is excellent we're all dancing in our seats or getting up and dancing in our rooms... It is the same as listening to her original, "7th Heaven." Dance, everyone, dance your cares away.
