really glad your reacting to a cradle of filth song HOWEVER this song isnt a true representation of who cradle of filth are. please listen to cruelty and the beast album in its entirety with the lyrics and once you have gotten past the type of vocals dani does you will appreciate just how much of a gifted lyricist dani is. the album is a concept album about the famous elizabeth bathory and its a masterpiece. you wont like the style of vocals so look past that and immerse yourself in the story that dani is telling through his lyrics.

One of their best, but there are a few others like this one, "smooth listening", sort of !! But many are very tough to listen to. Try after this one: Lovesick for Mina, Gabrielle, Swansong for a raven, Tearing the veil from Grace, Death of love, Bathory Aria. But their repertoire of songs is so huge I have not listened to all yet !!!!! But you will be in for a wild ride ladies listening to this band !! But I know some bands you might like a lot that are less harsh to listen to, just ask me. 🤘🤘

Yeah early albums are crazy and the newest one same kind of epic poems again from we gonna try mainstream but yeah did not take yeah mainstream, not into operatic story-like songs. They want catchy choruses, not an essay spit out at lightning speeds with technical precision. He is one of the Fine art pieces of Metal's best albums ever for getting the true emotions of people to make you more empathetic to others as well. He makes you feel as if you are being assaulted really. Cruelty and the Beats changed my mind about what is evil is not real mental illness is I did so much research on Elizabeth Bathory due to the album. Became a bigger nerd of looking back at past atrocities and seeing what their childhood was like it's never good.
