Pac's best project in my opinion. This song in particular was super lyrical for the metaphorical aspect you broke down flawless. Good stuff King! 👑 💯

This is not just a song ; it’s a book. PAC is too deep for people who think he’s basic. PAC is the most intelligent MC ever. Nas is probably the second after Tupac
@PRSPR3 жыл бұрын
That’s a great way to put it. Yea I agree, people that say he’s basic are trippin. They can’t understand his depth so they overlook it smh.
@guerlincebichotte47723 жыл бұрын
I don’t listen to hip pop anymore. I came to the United States in 1995 at the time I didn’t speak English. However, I listened to Tupac religiously even I didn’t understand most of what he was talking about but I felt he had an important message to share. People around the world listen to him and adore him because we can feel him in our soul.
@gamingforfun90003 жыл бұрын
Remember also sometimes basic can be very deep and then you have deep psychological hard to understand stuff (Killah Priest for example, especially album Heavy Mental). Greats like Pac can use both with power. We can do without claims tho, none of us have heard every single rapper in the world. intelligent Do you know Aesop Rock, if you dont you aint a proper rap head haha, what about Vinnie Paz, Jedi Mind Tricks, Ra The Rugged Man, check em all out ;) Like, being a Serb, listening to Serb spoken rap there is 2 rappers i would rate on Pac's level, my point is most of you guys listen to English spoken rap or mainly American Rap, so many Australian or British rappers are not known there. Just cause someone isnt as huge and many people heard their music it dont mean they aren't on that level. Listen to some old French Rap as well

The basics are people who would say something negative about someone who's done so much that even they might love it as well but too prideful to admit it. I just say to each it's own and everyone wasn't raised the same or have the same up bringing as others. So I guess it would be harder for those type of people to feel or understand what a guy like 2pac was really about.

Great Reaction Homie, for a 1st time hearing the song you did a great job with the breakdown, pretty much on point it took me years on sum this bars to catch frfr. I was a bit surprise how you caught the homophone wordplay with the bar: "living by the Nile, watching water flow". I want point out just a couple others that i think you miss. 1. The bar : "Come to grips on been written on my Enemies wall" that was a double entendre, Google "The Hand that God sent" you will see. 2. The bar : "They said Moses split the red sea I split the blunt and roll a fat one" Now, what makes this a dope metaphor for me is Pac split the blunt like Moses did with the sea and also roll a fat like Moses did when he split it. If you Google images of Moses splitting the sea. You will see how the water rose up high ( fat ) and roll over. 3. The bar : " God coming she just taking her time" another double entendre, how a woman takes her time cumming ( climax ). You can hear him in the background chuckling after he said it.
