If I recall, you’re a film student - I think you’d like a lot bjork’s music and videos. Her videos are very artistic and avant-garde. While she and Madonna are stylistically different, they’re similar in regards to their approach to utilizing videos as a vehicle to manifest their music and artistic expression. While Madonna’s videos are typically more cinematic, bjorks tend to be more futuristic and heady, but they always align well with the sonic landscape of the music - intro to Björk videos should be Human Behavior, violently happy, army of Me, it’s oh so quiet, joga, hunter, bachelorettei, hidden place...as a bonus track - listen to come to me. I’ve always considered Björk a sort of alternative sister to missy Elliot, their approach to music and videos are so similar; I’m not sure why they’ve never collaborated ....

If the intent of the video was to make the unnatural NATURAL, then it succeeds. Both entities, though mechanical were given female attributes, and their programming was to love. It was interesting to see the robotic arms still enhancing the creations, even while engaged in their affections. Love empowers, rejuvenates, and gives us an upgrade, sorta'. Another interesting thing, is the lack of a technician or creator. It looked like the factory machinery was continuing with its function, as did the creations with theirs.

Very interesting artist. She has amazing music videos and her first four albums feature loads of great songs, even though you need to be in the mood for it, as it's pretty different and intense. After 2002 her albums got a bit too weird to the point of almost unlistenable to me but her 90s stuff will always remain amazing and Vespertine from 2001 is her best ever. I can recommand several great videos, if you are interested to check out more of her work. And yes, Madonna loves Björk.
