They have over 300 songs and they do many different genre but the last 3 are approached for English speaking market. Also they were released during the pandemic so they wanted to help lift people’s spirits. Permission to dance was written by Ed Sherman and they tried to keep the dancing simpler where everyone could dance along. Also it is looking forward to a time when the pandemic is gone and we can rip off our mask. It also celebrates diversity and inclusiveness by including international sign language in the dance and by including people that were most affected by the pandemic

A lot of BTS fans had mixed reactions to Permission To Dance. Many said it was too poppy and too similar to their previous releases. But BTS just wanted to release positive music because of the pandemic and they've expressed how happy they are when they perform these songs. It's also an easier choreography so people of all ages can dance along. They also used sign language in the choreo for Permission To Dance. Butter and Permission To Dance became BTS 4th and 5th number 1 songs on the Billboard hot 100 chart. We don't know if these songs will be on an album because they were released as a single album last month, but who knows.

You may also like gogo from BTS. They don't have a music video for it but they do have a Halloween dance practice. It's great. They have live performances as well but I'm not sure which ones you can react to.
