BTS and Sidemen have loads of similarities: they both debuted in 2013, they have 7 members, the Sidemen's ages range from (1992-1996) and BTS is from (1992-1997). This isn't a similarity as such but BTS debuted as a hiphop group.

@@braveguy7505 I like some kpop, but BTS is my favorite by far. I don't listen to other's entire discography whereas with BTS I have. And I can honestly say in their over 200 song discography I don't hate any song. They do so many genres hiphop, rnb, pop, edm, jazz, neo-soul, and latin. There are songs literally for everyone. You have to keep in mind kpop isn't really a genre, it's more of an industry based in South Korea. Also know that BTS only has 2 songs fully in english in their almost 8 years since they debuted (Dynamite and Butter). The rest are Korean with varying degrees of english mixed in and they occasionally do songs in Japanese too. Many BTS fans won't even refer to BTS as kpop they say they are BTSpop. Even BTS themselves have stated they don't want to limit their hearts and their music to the term kpop. They also discuss a lot of important subject matter in their music such as mental health, self love, loss, societal expectations/injustices, economic inequalities, and so much more.
