I was seventeen and heard this song on the radio while driving home from school. I was so struck I had to pull over and just listen. That pitch shift when he says "mr. JONES" is hard to replicate for me

Man, you nailed it as a real life experience for me personally. Came out when I was a freshman in an American high school. He has timeless masterpieces such as "Hurricane", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Knockin' on Heavens Door", and "Like a Rolling Stone". I highly recommend giving him a listen!

The Counting Crows first 2 albums were, in my opinion, their best work. Their songs got me through a lot of life back then (and still)💜 And I've seen them a few times live and they always put on a good show!
