This song was therapy for me back in December of 1996. First semester at College and I was absolutely miserable. Not homesick, just sad and depressed even when I went home for the weekend.

The holidays used to mean everything to me before my dad disappeared from my life and the same yeae my fiance left me afyer 11 years together. My first Christmas alone i wrote a note to everyone i loved while listening to a sad playlist and this came on. That was 5 years ago. Thank you crows.

I saw Counting Crows in July, in Alpharetta, GA. Love them. MURDER OF ONE is one of my favorites. MRS. POTTER’s LULLABY is a great tune, too.
