"Walking on a Dream" was the first single from the 2008 debut studio album of Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun. It was a modest hit in Australia at the time. Then in 2016 it was used in a television commercial for the Honda Civic and that revived the song in the US charts. That falsetto vocal in the hook is memorable and that four on the floor beat is solid. It's an easy to get lost in the sauce of the vibe type song.

Sorry I'm late to the video. I absolutely love Empire of the Sun. At the time this song came out I was working at Best Buy remember it coming out didn't pay any attention to it wasn't to years later when they had the song in that car commercial where most people first heard walking on a dream And they just resonated with me. They did a showcase in Sydney it's probably about 12 years old at this point but these guys know how to put on a stage show. Phenomenal band I have all their albums downloaded they still to this day or one of the best kept secrets in music you would know it they have a massive following worldwide but you still don't ever hear about them.
