I love this song.. It reminds me of my Korean grandparents who were simple pear farmers.. I grew up on rock and listen to it mostly but All my true favorite song are weird songs like this.. The chanting is done by Difang Duana (March 20, 1921 - March 29, 2002) and Igay Duana (August 9, 1922 - May 16, 2002), Chinese names Kuo Ying-nan (郭英男) and Kuo Hsiu-chu (郭秀珠), were Amis husband and wife farmers from Taiwan who became known as a folk music duo who specialized in traditional Amis chants. The Amis people are an ancient (to present day) indigenous people in Taiwan.

I remember as a kid when this was first released. Even though I was about 12 I loved this song. Its one that just grabs you, sweep you away and tantalises the mind. It just hits and it feels good. Thats what I remember it doing when I first heard it, and it still does it now 🤷‍♂️ A great song, made at the right time and possibly the last best time as well.
