This song is from Garage, Inc Album. was released on 24th November 1998 through Elektra Records. Over 2.5 million copies have been sold in the US as certified by the RIAA. It includes cover songs, B-side covers, and the The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited, which had gone out of print since its original release in 1987. The title is a combination of Garage Days Re-Revisited and their song "Damage, Inc." The album features songs by artists that have influenced Metallica, including many bands from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement.

Thanks for good reaction video. Nice to see how you liked and got bit surprised about Metallica. Their music has a lot of variety tbh, from fast heavy trash metal to slow ballads. Many of the songs have deep lyrics and telling story, and have skillful transitions. Would be nice to hear more reactions from you as fresh listener, so here are few recommendations, offering different sides of their music: - Fade to Black. Classic, one of their best early pieces. Very beutiful, sad and heavy. - One. Classic reaction song in youtube. Also has good changes and transitions of different types of feelings, and tells very tragic story. There's version with music video (without lyrics though), so you might went to check it, and have lyrics somewhere nearby. - Master of Puppets. If you want to go and check some more fast and heavy stuff, this one is concidered one of the legendary piece of the genre. Fast and electric, with deep message in lyrics too. - Creeping Death, especially the Live Moscow 1991 version. Excellent heavy song, and the concert is legendary with 1,6M people in the audience. If you want to see how the band performs live, their exceptional energy, this one is worth to see. - The Day That Never Comes. Example of their more recent, 2nd latest album, song. Many people think that new Metallica isn't that great, but songs like these are good example of their song writing skills. Some live version is good choice. - Unforgiven. Actually it's a trilogy, you can find I, II and III. They share some similarities, but have bit different perspectvie on lyrics. Beautiful emotional songs.

Here’s what’s crazy. You look at the cover alone it tells the story of them. They are always traveling on the road. But then the music video.. tells a whole story by it self.. so you can take it how you want to take it if you get a different vibe from the music video.. it’s crazy how many meanings how it tells a story. Hearing it, seeing a music video, maybe you heard this song when you were going through a tough time and it gives you another perspective. Music is insane!

This is a cover of a Bob seger song I prefer the original even though they did a good job. Fun fact - In 1991 the did a free concert in Russia after the Berlin wall fell. There were 1.6 million people at that concert.

The reason why you heard no metal sounds from the band is because the song, Turn The Page, it is a cover song, and it ain't heavy. More like country style. You should listen to their album Master of Puppets instead😏

This is actually from an album they released that is all covers of songs. This song is from Bob Seger. If you go back to their early albums...super heavy metal like you were thinking. They mellowed out for a bit and then had some really bad albums overall. Their newest album "HardWired" is as close as I've heard to them getting back to their original sound while having good songs on the album as well. Decent choice randomly picking a song for your first Metallica song, but not a great representation of the band. Go with Master of Puppets on the next one !

This isn’t a real representation of what Metallica is as it is a cover. However they have different sound during the ‘90s. Their best sound is heavy. It’s a actually caller thrash metal, but you might not like it if you don’t like heavy. Still give it a go try Master of Puppets or Disposable Heroes.

I’m not sure having you react to a cover is the best place to start with a band. Maybe if you know the original well it would help you evaluate their abilities but more than likely you would be biased towards the original. Try Master of puppets or Enter sandman.
