Treach had a very unique delivery and naughty had some of the biggest hits during the nineties and his multi syllable rapping was phenomenal as far as alliteration with the exception of tupac if I die tonight (which you also react to) don't see alliteration this impressive!!!

Once again I told you would love this song. This was a new style for sure when it came out. Similar to Big Daddy Kane, but even more intense and concentrated. Trech style and flow took over Hiphop from 91-93. The next album after this was Hiphop hooray. (NBN), Naughty by Nature were the Hiphop hit makers. They forced radio to play real Hiphop. In 91 they ran the radio with "O.P.P"., in 92 it was, "Uptown Anthem", in 93 it was, "Hiphop hooray", 94 it was, "Craziest", 95 it was , "Feel me Flow". After that Biggie, Snoop, Nas, and TuPAC took over the game.

Many people lost the rhyme set up where he said if I was born in a Chinese temple I would be a Shogun (a Japanese warrior). I can clearly hear Eminem when i listen to Treach. Being a 90s teen I feel ashamed that my generation didn't show as much appreciation and recognition to Treach as this younger generation does now. I think that's because most of us weren't as analytical about rhyming schemes.

Treach didn't change the game when this came out but he had his own unique style and flow. The Big 4 in the 80s were Rakim, KRS, Kane, & G Rap. In the early 90s Treach was a top 3 rapper easy.

Trech rapping style is The genesis of rappers like Eminem and JayZ. Biggie took his style from Big Daddy Kane. Nas took his style from Kool G Rap. Trech says his hero is Grand Puba from Brand Nubian. You did a reaction to "Slow Down". I think he's talking about Puba's lyricism and not his flow. Their flows are totally different. Puba is a lyrical monster and flow master in his own right.

Honestly I wouldn’t be annoyed with him but the fans (including me) learning about these gems from him. One thing I respect about him is he always shows love to the MCs that came before him. He’s putting many of his fans onto artists he grew up listening to which I really mess with. It’s better than someone in the game disrespecting all the greats that came before them.
