The meaning get lost by tnaslations but its more like "du hast" means "You have" and "You hate" and the song is based about you say no to relationship in classic terms. Much more deep in german ;)

Bear with me because I learned this like 15 years ago from my high school German teacher. Near as I can tell what I'm about to say is backed up by German/English dictionaries and some lyric/translation sites which will explain the same thing I'm about to say here: For most of the song they say "Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet..." which you've translated correctly here. However late in the song there is a slightly different line of "Willst du bis zum Tod der Scheide...." which is often translated as a kind of awkwardly worded similar phrase, but actually has a dramatically altered meaning. While "scheiden" as a verb is "to separate, divide, part, etc." the word "Scheide" as a noun most commonly would translate as "vagina." With the slightly different grammar and the corrected translation you get a line more akin to "Will you, until her pussy dies..."

It‘s a „german language thing“. While he repeats „Du hast mich“ it could also be „du hasst mich“. The difference of just one letter decides if it means „I hate you“ or if it is the beginning of the sentence „du hast mich gefragt“. Which means „you asked me“. The answer is „I just said nothing“. The “tricky thing” is, that first three words can mean various things. “Du hast mich” as in “to have” (someone/something) or “Du hasst mich” as in “to hate” someone or something. So piece by piece it will get to the actual first section (of the first part of the sentence). I just listened to it as well. Actually they aren’t liked or understood by some people and regarded (but I am not in school here nor am I trying to be an expert) a “controversial band” alike. The way the texts are build up is pretty genius. And the rhythm is actually matching the lyrics very well. Thank you.
