So the cry in the song, it's called keening and wailing, or a death wail and the sound happens when someone loses another. (It's just an imitation and done to beat, cause you can't replicate it properly) Which is the reason for some people find it hard to listen too. You don't forget that sound once you've heard it even from yourself. But its also used in rituals practice in other cultures and was a forgotten art of the Celts to help deal with the loss of loved ones usually practiced by women on the outer fringes of society.

TG Lurgan is an Irish-immersive summer program for teenagers in Ireland in order to help "reclaim" their native language from near-extinction. As part of the offerings, they make music videos of popular songs translated into Irish, which they sing and record. Last summer they did Zombies in Irish and superimposed it with footage from Ukraine. It was SO moving! I highly recommend looking it up on KZbin!

The Easter Rising (Irish: Éirí Amach na Cásca),[1] also known as the Easter Rebellion, was an armed insurrection in Ireland during Easter Week in April 1916. The Rising was launched by Irish republicans against British rule in Ireland with the aim of establishing an independent Irish Republic while the United Kingdom was fighting the First World War. It was the most significant uprising in Ireland since the rebellion of 1798 and the first armed conflict of the Irish revolutionary period. Sixteen of the Rising's leaders were executed from May 1916. The nature of the executions, and subsequent political developments, ultimately contributed to an increase in popular support for Irish independence.

There were a lot of bombs going off in London and I remember this one time a child was killed when a bomb was put in a rubbish bin - that's why there's that line in the song, 'A child is slowly taken'. [ ... ] We were on a tour bus and I was near the location where it happened, so it really struck me hard - I was quite young, but I remember being devastated about the innocent children being pulled into that kind of thing. So I suppose that's why I was saying, 'It's not me' - that even though I'm Irish it wasn't me, I didn't do it. Because being Irish, it was quite hard, especially in the UK when there was so much tension. - Dolores O'Riordan in 2017, on writing "Zombie".[15]

This is what it sounds like when a song cries out loud. In the 90's we Gen Xers fought the system through our music, and the classic lyrics such as this. It was a very personal, and powerful way to have our voices heard. I wish today's youth and music industry understood this.

It was her protest song, the IRA planted a bomb and and as a result two young boys in Warrington, Cheshire died. She was protesting against the endless cycle of violence caused by the N.Ireland troubles. A three year old (Jonathan Ball) and a 12 year old were killed (Tim Parry). Tim died 5 days after the bombing. Dolores said in a 1994 interview "I remember seeing the mothers on television, just devistated.... red fell in love with this song from the first I heard it growing up and you should take a chance to listen to other music from them it's not the same Vibe though but it is but it's not and with words like violence causes silence it is about war and it'll always be relevant as long as greed and indifference control people in power but music has always been there to brighten up our darkest days it is the exact medicine that brought us out of the Dark Ages didn't know that artist bought the church and their rules against music that was anything but Gregorian to be foul even music like Beethoven and Sebastian Bach they were ridiculed and snubbed but it's composers an artist Like These and others of their time that fought hard for music and other art forms in the world and for the first time in recorded history charity popped up worldwide to help with the needy I'm studying music as a medicine and have been for the past few years and I'm completely blown away and I've gotten to love my playlist of everything from brain wave music megahertz to loom sounds with the mother's heartbeat the baby's heartbeat and even Egyptian music it is something that can be studied without an end to it and as someone who loves to learn it's now my passion to completely dive into music and what is capable of remember when listening to megahertz music to have it turned very low to where you almost can't hear it because it's not something you hear it's the vibration that your body and cells are reacting to and may cause people headaches if they try to listen to it as they would other music so I have written you a chapter of your own take care brother and family and remember peace out Girl Scouts LOL🤗❤❤❤❤
