I love what you said about the lyrics coming full circle. They come back around but the music hasn't so you are in a different place when you hear them and re-contextualizes them in a way, it is wonderfully crafted songwriting. Sleep Token played with that on a few of their songs with this album and it makes for fun call back moments, like little Easter eggs as it were. Vessals piano and lyric work is sublime but he does a lot if not all the production on the songs, he is very smart and creative with it, the mans artistic expression is something else.

This is *such* a good video! And I think you'll know exactly what I mean when I say about the only thing you can expect from Sleep Token is the unexpected - your facial expressions were priceless! As for recommendations, I would suggest going right back to the beginning of Sleep Token's discography to their first EP (very cunningly called "One". Can't get muddled up with "Two", their second one, there!) and look at the vocal versions of each of the three tracks on it. I say the vocal versions because there are piano versions of each track on that EP as well. You've got "Thread The Needle", "Fields Of Elation" and "When The Bough Breaks". In these tracks, you'll hear a younger Vessel, where he has done all the vocal arrangements and most of the instrumentation, all barring the drums, which are played by II (that's two, and not eye-eye). II writes and performs all the drum sections and he is *amazing*, but you got a little taste of his drumming skill in "The Summoning" - he's an absolute unit! It's lovely to see a new reaction. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your journey - expect to see your viewer numbers go upwards as well, because quite a few of us look out for new reaction videos/reactors - it's almost a hobby. ❣Worship❣

This is quite a rabbit hole. ST fans will be here in droves. Vessel (the lead singer and the one who plays all the instruments in the studio except drums) is immensely talented and can draw upon a number of vocal colours. The three primary albums are a trilogy (The Summoning is on the last one) that tells a story. There are many interpretations, but the jist is the evolution of a toxic relationship. Musically there’s a lot of ground to cover and I’d be very glad to see you take it on, as would a lot of other people. Have fun!

Ah, fresh meat to the Sleep Token world. I suggest listening to this whole album, in order. If you jump around the songs, you'll miss the most important pieces. Sleep Token is like an onion; many layers and you may find yourself tearing up as you peel them back. Really you should listen to all 3 albums in order, but that's a bit much to ask. Obviously pay attention to the music, the musical styles, and the quality of writing and playing. Pay attention to the lyrics in each song. The whole album tells a story. In fact, the whole trilogy of albums does. But you can get it from this album. It's about a relationship. What is the relationship like? Who are the people? Who is saying the lyrics at each point? Pay attention to how the music and singing style makes you feel in relation to the story of the relationship unfolds. You are supposed to feel that way. Pay attention to the metaphors in the songs. Look up the meaning of the song titles. What do the metaphors mean at this point of the relationship and story. Pay attention to the references. There are references at the end of songs to the beginning of songs, but changed. There are references in later songs to earlier songs on the album, and to earlier albums, and new lyrics but using earlier metaphors. Before you listen to the last song, Euclid, go listen to the first song on the first album, The Night Does Not Belong to God. When you listen to Euclid, pay even closer attention to everything above. How do you feel. What are the metaphors and lyrical references? What do the directions mean? What are the repeated lyrics? What is the state of the relationship and what do you think happens next? How do you feel? How do they feel? You could spend months finding new things in this album, as many of us have. It is a true masterpiece.
