my hubby speaks Tausug so Dayang means mahal or my love, but if you say dayang dayang it translate to princess. Kalasaha ta kaw is simply i love you or mahal kita.

hi, just found this video and one of my favorite song is "noli". so yes, it's about maria clara and ibarra love story in crisostomo's pov. if you have read noli me tangere, you'll know that there have been too much struggle and hardship that their love needed to overcome and in the end, they did not prosper. in this song, however, the pov is (you're right! 😂) possessive and vengeful bcos according to mo (the lyricist of this song), in this noli universe, ibarra is fighting really hard. "what can you do, and how far can you go to fight for this love?" is the main context of this song. you'll see how deathly and passionate one can be in these lyrics. 😊
