Also the Thunder Struck part was centered around the fact that almost every request he gets is that song, also its not a typically hard song to play on guitar so he doesn't enjoy playing it very much!

Ya, it's one of those songs that sounds hard to play to someone who doesn't play. It's slow becoming Stairway to Heaven.

The song was written as hammer on and lift offs (Angus even shows in the music video that it can be played solely with the left hand). TheDooo makes it harder by picking each note. It's just that it's requested SO much, it might as well be Stairway to Heaven in a guitar shop ... FORBIDDEN.

TheDooo is some kind of musical wizard. Even if he had never heard it before. Give him like 2 minutes and he can replay just about anything. If he adds the loop pedal, then it's gonna be a melody and he somehow makes his guitar sound like it's actually saying words.

same theory for piano goes with guitar ish like take a scale and you can connect the notes through relative pitch and once u get a start you can just keep adding too it with those scales you just have to know a whole lotta note positions and know what notes go with each other from music theory. but his mind idk yo i gotta think ahead to even try but this man is on a whole new level on how fast he can put it together

Nice video! This guy's great! I recommend watching the ones where he pretends to be a beginner, pretends to be a girl, and the one where he plays with Herman Li ( Which is fully improvised ). He also has original songs which are great ( Ascend, Ethereal, Horizons, and Eclipse)

Yes, yes, PLEASE watch ALL of his videos, he's GREAT! There's one where he collaborated with Herman Li of Dragonforce, for a charity event. In a couple of other videos, he has dressed up like a girl and (successfully) done a feminine voice to trick people (he wears a wig, skirt and leggings but his man-hands and short nails give him away sometimes). He's REALLY funny! He also has a gaming channel and he plays with lots of people but he has a group of friends he plays with the most, ALWAYS entertaining stuff!

MGK was forced to switch genres up, especially after putting out the mumble rap binge album, then when he went to rock music, everyone started to hate him their too, and actually still do. He's just a Poser now, I was one of his first 100 subscribers when he started on KZbin years ago also.

He's a really good guitarist. I've been playing a good 40 years. I've been so lucky with the people that I've worked with, people most will never have heard of. I'd suggest the lockdown videos of Guy Pratt (who has spent the last 30 years as bassist for Pink Floyd and wrote the basslines for such things as Madonna's Like a Prayer and Jackson's Earth Song. The guy's a legend. He's also a writer and a stand up comedian.

Although he does have perfect pitch and it does help him with playing by ear, it's the absolute fuckton of hours he puts in that allows him to do that.

You said it yourself at the beginning of this video. TheDooo has 5.9 MILLION subscribers. Los Angeles has a population of 3.9 Million. Also, when he does improvised, it means he's heard about 30 seconds of the track and he's (heavy pun) making Dooo. He doesn't know the song note for note. The times he has done a song note for note, he's been de-monetized since KZbin doesn't get that he's THAT talented and assume he's infringing copyurights.
