2pac and Bizzy Knocked this out in 5 minutes. Biggie had to take his song home and work on it after Bone Thugs finished their verses on the first try.
@popz44702 жыл бұрын
So one of Bizzy Bones' nicknames is RIP or lil ripsta, etc. So originally, Bizzy Bone met up with Pac and started recording this song with another artist called Silk E Fine. Then they changed it up and decided to add the other Bone members and removed Silk E Fines verse and also changed up the beat a little bit. So I think they just kept the same chorus tho, which makes sense because it was only Pac and Bizzy Bone(aka RIP), hence the chorus, "Pac and RIP with thug luv". You guys should actually look up the original one. It's dope asf, and Bizzy has a 2nd verse on it, and I think the beat for the original is better.

Biggie didn't record his part with bone. He heard they part and looked at what he had and decided too wait. Bone didn't hear Biggie verse until the song came out. He studied they flow and copied their style for the song

To answer your question. Both songs were done in 1996. Biggie's may have come alittle later. The original Thug Luv was meant for Pac's unreleased One Nation album. It has a different beat but same Jason Vorhees sample and gunshots. I think the retail made it stand out more and more uptempo, but the original has more Pac adlibs which to me is a bonus to hear. I'm not sure if the original would have been as big as a hit as the One Nation album production is a lot more gritty and East Coast sounding and not as polished as All Eyez On Me tracks. But still good none the less. One Nation was meant to be Pac and Death Row featuring East Coast rappers (Not Biggie, Diddy, Fat Joe etc). Meant to show he had love for the East Coast. Around 17 tracks were made, but Pac moved on to recording Makaveli and never got the chance to do a second round of recording for it. And yes Pac dissed Bone Thugz in 1994 for using the Thug name. Pac has a interview walking down the street where he disses them and basically calls them wannabes. But later he admitted that he overreacted and so he squashed it.

Well originally thug love was only supposed to be 2Pac and Bizzy Bone, but it made more sense businesswise to have all the members of Bone on the song. That’s why in the chorus at the end you hear Bizzy sing PAC and Rip with thug luv. Because the original version was just them two

Yeah you boys should listen to a few more of PACs hundreds of songs before forming your conclusions If you think pac don't flow and don't have word play you definitely don't know the man's catalogue
@millennialxreactions2 жыл бұрын
The conclusions were formed about the song we were listening to. Are you telling me this is one of his best songs? Did you watch the whole video? We acknowledge he is a legend and paved the way for a lot of rappers. But I understand some people can't stand to hear anything negative about their favorite artists even though we didn't say anything negative other than we thought biggies song with bone was better. So instead of being negative, you could suggest a better song for us to listen to from Pac.
@shaheempashua69242 жыл бұрын
Guys you made assertions in your video about pacs ability and claims about his songs you listened to being the same etc. So anyone telling you different is negative 🤣 how many of his hundreds of songs have you listened to I'm saying you don't know his music well enough to draw these conclusions 🙄 Lol negative I'm shook

If you all think Krayzie goes off...this is nothing. Check out his Clash of The Titans...He just goes nuts, way more than this track, non-stop with no chorus in between verses. It is a sort of a response to Eminems Rap God. Yall gotta react to it! Krayzie is the real Rap God, IMO

The collab with biggie was definitely better, the production was so much cleaner, the dark grimy gun beat fits Pac though. The only other collab I know that's got Pac on it is with bizzy bone and I think it's just a remix, but it's called black haze. A remix of hail Mary I believe.

Pac didnt really rap over beats with this slow of a tempo. Bone slowed down the beats and rapped double time over them. They should have used a Land of Tha Heartless tempo of beat and Tupac would have gone off like in Hit Em Up.
