Thar's how I feel when people say they've never seen this, "Love and Basketball" (even though I don't really like it like that, or "Baby Boy" (the movie I watched most). I saw these in rotation all the time on BET growing up and the thought of someone else not growing up constantly saying, "Don't mess with me- I'm Looney Tunes!" is crazy to me. To be fair though there's tons of classics I also missed out on as a kid that I bet shocks others too.

One of the funniest parts of this movie is that the big girl who came to see Smokey, told him she looked like Janet Jackson ! In the movie “Poetic Justice “, Janet’s character Justice wears her hair in braids with a hat through most of the movie, and that’s why the big girl takes off the hat that has the braids attached.😂 it’s funnier if you’ve actually seen Poetic Justice to get the reference.

Many years ago, I worked for a bank branch that had only a TV with a VCR and a handful of movies for entertainment in the break room. Friday was by far the most popular one. Repeated viewings were so common that it became a running joke with the staff that "every day is Friday".
