I have a cousin that worked on Willie's crew many years ago and yes, his high octane grade of weed would put down an elephant, he said his whole body would vibrate for two hours, lol. He also regularly commented on how nice and down-to-earth Willie is, he treated his people very good and was always ready to lend a hand.

Got to meet Willie and smoke out with him once he was in Durango shooting the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid and his motel got compromised so one of his body guards (which was a good friend of mine)brought him to Alamosa so he wouldn't be bothered by all his fans so my friend came and picked me up and we went out for a couple of drinks and then he took me to meet Willie as we walked in the door Willie looked at me and said No I'm not him and I said yeah right and you don't have a gorilla in an Armani suit with a side arm either he laughed and everyone was right he is one of the nices guys you ever want to meet didn't make it home until around 3 in the morning the wife was pissed but it was worth it because it was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities.

I wouldn't say Toby was a warmonger but what he was was a huge supporter of our military. He was performing so close to the front lines in Iraq & Afghanistan they were in tents & he had to stop his show because an IED blew up near the gate. But when the all clear came in he went back out & performed. He did tons for wounded warriors & vets. You don't have to support a war to support men & women
