We(my father and I) have a big yard, so we practiced a while before cutting grass, and I didn't even "give it the sticks" untill I had cut grass about a week later and got more used to it.😳😉. Man them things got some power I the turns, can be very unforgiving!

That's why so many burnt their transmissions out. The high rpm catches people off guard, and they try to lower the throttle speed. Then the slower engine speed kills the transmission with too much heat. After constant use at slow engine speed of course.

Some people have common sense. The first time I ever got on one, all I did was kind of go faster than I wanted, so I figured out that I just needed to push a little less. After that, I was flying around. No problem if I wanted to go fast and could back into the shop around everything as well. That's how people need to learn how to use machines though. Let them run it on a flat surface with nothing around and just let them figure it out if they can, and most of the time we can learn. It's better to learn by actually physically using something rather than trying to explain it. That's how I learned to back a trailer. I watched others do it, then I tried it myself and it was also no problem.

I use to train people how to use zero turns on ft. Knox. My favorite thing to do, was to wave at them as they got co portable making a circle around the tree. 9 time out of ten, they would let go and try to wave back.😂 I am able to control a zero tur.
