First Time Out Cultivating with Ford FW60

Sometimes a tractor comes along in which all the design features harmonise to produce something which just looks right. Those late 70s early 80s Steigers were an great example of that. Wonder if he knows the number plate's upside down!

Same machines as the Steigers sold here in the states, but without the option of having the straight six engines. Seems much more popular in England. You don’t see many here, but I know one guy that has one.

Believe it’s the same as the Panther Steigers. This FW60 has the vt903 Cummins and upped to 400hp.

@@PhilsFarming These Ford FWs are based on Steigers 'PT' series tractors with a narrow frame of 39" wide, and a wheelbase of 132•50". Also equipped with Steigers own S34 3 pinion outboard reduction axles, rather than RABA, which were more common on the medium frame (44" wide), 'ST' Steigers. Referring to Series III machines in both instances.
