I remember taking these to a job back when they came out when I had my game Boy advance. It was so lackadaisical I would just leave and go sit in my car and play Castlevania and get paid lol. These are some of the best games in the series I think.

It was awesome to catch you online there playing this! You even read my comment on how I played this before Symphony, and I totally agree with your thought, you should try Symphony again when your body asks for it, as it becomes an awesome museum once you know the castle. As I said, Aria of Sorrow is so much fun, that soul system is Godsent, so much variety, plus those graphics and melodies... so much fun. I'm so happy you're opening up to the Metroidvania ones and what's more important, enjoying them. I know you'll work your way to the DS and great great things are awaiting for your there, the sequel to this with graphics even better than symphony and, again, the awesome soul system, Portrait of Ruin, and the last great 2d Castlevania to date, Order of Ecclesia, which is a f. masterpiece. Awesome stream! I said awesome a lot in this comment and I'm proud of it lol. Looking forward to the next. Take care and have a great weekend!!

I'm also playing Aria of Sorrow on Switch right now. Third playthrough ever. First was on GBA back when the game came out, second on DS (with the backwards compatibility), and now on Switch. Watching Erin play it is infectious. There's a magic to seeing someone do a first run. It's a really fun game just like all the other Igavanias, though it gets some elements (the soul system) just right in a unique way. In the proper hands it's just as enthralling to watch as it is to play.

It is what it is. Most people are fine/not nuts, but unfortunately there are people who literally cannot handle the fact that someone isn't speed running/an expert at certain games, despite saying it's a first time play through. So after playing SOTN for the first time, I've learned to put up disclaimers lol.

Aria of sorrow is similiar to symphomy of the night with the RPG element and most of the castlevania games have a nice background

I have this game on GBA and I really enjoyed it. I have about every souls I got my hands on and I beat the game I also beat the game as Julius Belmont. You’ll get there, Erin. I know you can do it.

The Soul Set menu wasn't very clear. It didn't mean that you only have 12 uses of the spears. Each Soul you get, you keep permanently. What it meant was that it takes 12 MP or rather 12 Hearts to use a spear. Hearts and MP are the same thing in this game.

think this is the only castlevania game ive completed all the way... way better than sotn order of ecclesia is probably my 2nd fav castlevania game but wasnt really compelled to finish it the way i was with this one

The Collection is Called "Advance" for the GBA games... however, Dracula X (Vampire Kiss in Europe) is the misfit of the collection and good in it's own right (but inferior to the game that it's based on... Rondo of Blood). Is nice to see you play the final GBA game (which is pretty much the best of the console and kind of the Symphony of the Night succesor). Edit: Yoko is really dumb to reveal that Genya Arikado is Alucard... by accident (of course, veterans of the series or who have enough knowledge could find Arikado's name a little bit suspicious).

The map function makes you life a lot easier in this game. Otherwise, the game would be like the first Metroid. 🙂

Just beat Aria (again). Used to be my 4th favorite game ever, buuuuut I have to admit, I've grown to ADORE Bloodstained: RotN. It's messy, but the variety and brevity give lots of options to make the game harder/easier, and offers completely different ways to play. The game has funny moments too, and I genuinely like Miriam's response to some characters. Replayed SotN recently too, and it's definitely the coolest. Best style, music, and great variety too, but it's kind of annoying at times. Particularly knockback, and lacking New Game+ REALLY hinders late game progression. So yeah! After 15ish years, Bloodstained dethroned Aria as my 4th favorite game EVER.

@@ErinPlaysExtras I was just asking if you're actually do it for yourself or to make money some women do it for money but it look like it was first time playing that game the only time I farm enemies is when I was hunting souls from monster that good thst you enjoy that game I'd like to see you stream castlevania circle of the moon that harder castlevania game on gba I beat it when I was kid I continue support like the video you do don't need take offense to what I said some women game just to get like ans shares and some do it for the money and some do it because they enjoy it I'm enjoying it castlevania aria of sorrow on the switch I was excited when It came out on switch:) I hope you check out other castlevania collection on switch what program are you using to steam do you gotta buy program for that
