“Life is But a Dream” album from 2023 is very good, and it’s very different from their usual stuff. Just listen the entire album. They mix different genres there, so one or two tracks are simply not enough to appreciate it, even if you know the band very well.

The white album was "self titled" so technically the name of the album is Avenged Sevenfold; Live in the LBC was a re-release of a few songs, a couple of covers, and a DVD of their live show in the LBC (a concert venue near where they all grew up in California) The Stage is an incredible album, and obviously the music video for the title song is an absolute must-watch even if you don't record it. Tying in with the lyrics it's a powerful message. I haven't gotten into the new album yet, hadn't even heard of it, but I'm on my way to give it a listen here and now!

your avenged sevenfold story is very similar to mine. i was obsessed in high school. saw them live probably 6 times. had every album and then went and hunted down all the behind the scenes dvds. but then i fell off after hail to the king. if you’re looking for more about the band the behind the scenes stuff is hilarious. they did a whole dvd about making their self-titled album (the white cover one). would be a fun reaction. especially them making a little piece of heaven lol.

Just watched A7X live for the first time last night after waiting for 9 f*cking years. And that was A7X only stop in Asia for 2024. Last time a7x came to my country was when i was in highschool and finally i watch them live.

Yes bro didn't expect A7X on here, you gotta do one of their recent tracks "Cosmic" there is an animated MV for it. Also matt sounds different 2014-2016 and then different nowadays due to excessive touring and thinning of his vocal chords, which is why they didn't tour from 2019-2022, and he definitely sounds better nowadays than 2014-2018 era due to giving his vocal chords a solid rest and singing in a new style. Its sad, cause the technique to sing like he did in the 2000s is still there, but his vocal chords physically aren't thick like back in the day and don't give the same sound when they vibrate together. Its a physiological issue plus the 15 year aging ontop.

With that comes my secondary/backup selling point for this suggestion: not many people make react content for video-game-songs-with-fan-lyrics and I feel like it's an underappreciated field.
