A history lesson about the lyrics. The original Bad Apple song was obviously in Japanese, so way back 14 years ago Critina Vee herself sang an English version for the song, with the lyrics written by Pat McCarthy, which was a huge hit among the English fans of Touhou and is still on her channel to this day. So imagine all of our surprise when RichaadEB, who was doing many Touhou Metal covers at this point, finally did a Bad Apple cover, and Cristina Vee was singing the lyrics! It was like going back in time for us fans, and it was, and still is, awesome!

Note that she starts singing at 0:56. The vocals continue without interruption until 2:20. I'm pretty sure she's actually inhaling at least part of the time she's singing. I'm also guessing she'd make a hell of a free diver. The top comment for the original video is "The reason why the intro is so long is because the singer is actually inhaling enough air for the whole song."

Bad Apple also has a version sung by a polyglot in like, 10 different languages. That version blew me away. And Bad Apple is generally known to have crazy versions, like one on an ACTUAL APPLE, one SHEEP from Minecraft and many more. I kinda love how "Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light" kinda can be interpreted in 2 different ways, a place within the light for the broken ones... OR a place, anywhere, for the people who broke inside the light/by the light. Maybe because I Heard this in the Time I played Birth by Sleep and there was that "You were blinded by darkness but I was blinded by light" thing

@@achmodinivswe9500 Yeah, I saw. I personally figure he meant he couldn't remember the original lyrics, as in, potentially having read subtitles of them. I'm not sure he did have subtitles on back then, but I think that's what he thought in this video. He was also misled by the "Lyrics by Chritstina Vee", thinking she came up with everything, when it only meant she adapted the translated lyrics to fit an English singing flow.

Richaad has also worked with VShojo a couple times (like their cover of “Zombie” by Hatsune Miku). He’s AWESOME!🤘 Also, Christina Vee is a pretty famous voice actor in a bunch of anime (English dubs) and other cartoons (Miraculous Lady Bug, Sailor Moon, Seven Deadly Sins, K-On, and A LOT MORE). Lastly, they also did another cover of this with Japanese lyrics as well (this one is an English cover).

Since you asked what bullet hell is, Bullet hell is the genre of game that Touhou games fall into! Richaad did a whole album of touhou cover songs which he dubbed "bullet hell" in honor of the genre the touhou games are!
