That last intro always throws everyone off, even if they don't say it, the face says it all😂. Incidently, as both a long time manga reader and anime watcher, it does gets the strongest emotional response to me. It's bittersweet, because the title cards that flash across the screen, as Ichgio walks forward, represents multiple arcs and chapters/episodes.

I agree with the “gets me emotional” thing. Bro the title cards going by gives me the same feel like when you’re remembering your sweetest memories through the fuzzy mist, that you see in flashbacks in movie or anime scenes. And especially paired with the music. It never ceases to bring a tear to my eye

OMG I am so happy you did this one! Bleach has always been a favorite of mine and I am (like many others) so hyped that this show is finally returning to finish the final season after all of these years. If you ever do decide to check it out on the channel, I definitely wouldn't mind. 😁 I never really thought about how difficult it is to try and guess what the show is about just from the openings alone as this one kind of is all over the place. They do make sense if you know what's going on, but yeah, I can see where the confusion comes from if you've never seen an episode before. Anyways, I hope you also do check out the endings as well as those are really awesome as well. Can't wait for the next one! 💜

One of the things confusing you are the filler seasons' opening. During the release of the anime there were seasons where the manga (source material) wasn't far enough for them to adapt a full season. So they created full seasons themselves without much of any input by the author. That's why you feel like the theme suddenly change

The show is 200 Episodes minus the filler. You can definitely watch it since the conclusion to this anime is going to get aired on October 10 this year. The graphics are movie-level for the final arc. Small details in this show are very important that's why a lot of fans actually like it better after rewatching because you'll miss a lot of the details on the first watch. Just for reference, the anime adaptation that we've seen so far has been somewhat sensored from the original manga! love how you managed to figure out half of what's going on and the flying part was...well you are half right lol. The "flying" isn't technically flying but its them basically having the ability to be in the air without having to worry about gravity messing with them. The "flying at high speeds" part is just them moving really quickly. Think of the Pokemon move Quick Attack or Extreme Speed without the first priority always go first tac. The high speed movement is called Shunpo and the dark skinned lady with Purple hair in a long ponytail and orange looking clothing is very good at Shunpo if anything she's a pro. little info on BLEACH. its an anime show about a high school teenager named Ichigo Kurosaki (orange hair guy who see mostly in each themed opening) who ends up becoming a Soul Reaper (the guys in black garb clothing and swords) after meeting a young women who goes by the name Rukia Kuchiki (raven haired girl who was in white sitting back to back with Ichigo in the second them opening) who was trying to save Ichigo's family from an attack by an invading monster known as a Hollow (the monsters with single hole in either chest area or other places on they're body) The Swords the Soul Reapers have are called Zanpakto and each has two stages of modes: Shikai and Bankai. Shikai half awaken. Bankai fully awaken. In order to be a Soul Reaper Captain (guys who are in white and black clothing) you most display you can go from Shkai to Bankai. There is only one Captain who can't go Bankai and he's the only exception due to his battle prowess.

You DEFINITELY need to watch the show... Granted the first season is slow paced to set viewer into the universe bit by bit, not to mention how old season 1 is, so the animation might not be as smooth and fluid as we see today, but once you make past the first season, I am sure you would get hooked, coz everything kicks off like an explosion after that (more or less). And you were SOMEWHAT close to some of your theories of what the show was about whilst watching the openings, but without spoiling anything... Know that you will see how the main protagonist (Ichigo Kurosaki) evolve in a way that potentially might make you fall in love with the show. P.S watching your reaction made me want to rewatch the whole show so badly!

All the Openings as well as just all of the Bleach soundtrack is PHENOMINAL! The story is absolutely amazing in my opinion and I will say the openings that seemed random or from leftfield are from separate arcs, with such a long show there are a few different story lines they go through. Just saw this in my recommendations and decided to check it out. It's interesting seeing you try to piece the story together. Bleach would have a main arc that would build up for so many episodes, and then they would throw a random side arc at you. Each one of the Big Three (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) is absolutely worth a watch, hands-down. They're all big in more ways than one though, so be prepared for a long journey. You can reduce the size somewhat by using a filler guide (many exist for each show), but some of the filler is actually enjoyable, so it's all up to you whether you skip them or not. Edit: Also, if you were considering reacting to more ending songs, Bleach has good ones.
@majoratwili73122 жыл бұрын
Naruto's filler is a very mixed bag imo. Some of it is practically canon (or IS canon but animated from novels or other things Kishimoto has stated are canon) and some.... some is just an absolute bore. Bleach's filler.... Fuckin' *yikes.* The Bount Arc alone is enough for me to want to shoot myself-
@QuantumFishFTW2 жыл бұрын
I think with shounen in general it's sort of a mixed bag. For people who watch when they're younger they gain alot of values watching these shows and so it can mean alot more for them. Of course, I'm including myself in it. I love Bleach, Naruto and Dragon Ball etc, but I'm not sure I'd have that same love today for them if I hadn't watched it when I was younger. That's not to say they don't still have the good stuff but there's many more options nowadays to choose from.

Bleach doesn't even have an overarching plot or explore any themes all it is, is constantly rescue the damsel in distress and save my friends much like Naruto did later on when it became bloated.
@brandonnowakowski76022 жыл бұрын
@@frozenfury0 That's simply not true. It regularly deals with themes of loss, grief, trust, revenge, tradition vs progress and more besides. It might not say anything NEW about any of those things that any other Shonen doesn't, but to say these themes aren't there shows you either don't understand the narrative, or are just being a troll. Or I suppose you could just be talking about Ichigo himself, which is fair. Side characters get more emotional development than he does a lot of the time. As a few examples, Byakuya explores duty to society vs duty to family/himself. Aizen is in many ways a tragic character when you realize he actually feels isolated and trapped by the confines of the world he lives in. Chad's VERY POWERS come from the fact that he's learned to be proud of who he is as a person and overcome the punk he used to be.

Bleach is great if you make sure to skip most of the filler episodes. Which there are entire arcs of. (Filler episodes are not part of the source material, made specifically for the anime adaptations. Usually used to give on-going serializations time to produce more content so the anime doesn’t catch up and run out of source material). A lot of shows are made of 35% or more filler episodes.
