"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" is the story of a family, and each generation, for example the season 1-2 is about the first generation and second, the third and the forth the same, after its becames more bizarre, the protagonist in each season (no spoilers), is called by the sound of his name and surname syllables, like Jojo. For example the first protagonist is JOnathan JOestar. This are the bases for understand JoJo. As an urban legend it is said that if you watch the series you become a real man or woman.

As for the double openings in JoJo a lot of times in the second arc's the Main Villain of the arc invades the OP-song that is why some songs are twice and got a slight or a really crazy arrangment

Loved the reaction! Also for a short explanation, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure rather than having a main character follows different generation from the same family. As for the characters they are : Jonathan Joestar for the first opening, Joseph Joestar for the second one, Jotaro Kujo for the third and fourth(+alternative version) opening, Josuke Higashikata for the fifth(+alternative version), sixth and seventh(+alternative version) opening, Giorno Giovanna for the seventh and eighth(+2 alternative versions) and finaly Jolyne Kujo for the ninth opening. The alternative versions do contain modifications (mostly to their ends) mostly around the theme of the part main villain Hope it helps

JoJo could be considered a modern father of anime and manga. It's as old as dragon ball, and is incredibly influential. It's also the first manga to ever be featured in the Louvre (it had its own exhibition), the first manga to have a Gucci Collab to my knowledge, having actual physical JoJo Gucci stores around the world and you can find work inspired by it everywhere. Even Just Dance 2023 pays homage to JoJo on it's covers. If you start JoJo you might notice the inspiration so many things have taken from it.

The one really cool part about JoJo's is that each season has something really unique in it. Part 1 takes place in Victorian England, Part 2 in USA during World War 2, Part 3 in late 80's takes us on a journey from Japan to Egypt, Part 4 happens in small japanese town in late 90s, Part 5 shows Mafia-ruled Italy in early 2000s and Part 6 in Florida prison in late 2000s, and each of these parts have its own distinct feeling. Hence differences in genres of OPs

Jojo is VERY HARD to Explain Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a multi-generational anime. All the protagonists are from the same family and whose nicknames can be Jojo. Each generation has to fight a supernatural threat with all the main villains having Time-Manipulating Powers. Part 1: Phantom Blood Volumes 1-5, 44 chapters. In late 19th-century England, Jonathan Joestar, the young son of a wealthy landowner, meets his new adopted brother Dio Brando, who loathes him and plans to usurp him as heir to the Joestar family. Things get complicated when he puts on a cursed mask and becomes a super vampire. Part 2: Battle Tendency Volumes 5-12, 69 chapters. In 1938, a German expedition discovers and awakens a Pillar Man, a powerful humanoid whose race created the Stone Mask. Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's grandson, unites with new allies and masters to defeat the Pillar Men. Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Volumes 13-28, 152 chapters. In 1989, Dio Brando (now referred to as "DIO") awakens after his tomb is salvaged from the ocean. Because Dio had managed to capture Jonathan's body, spiritual guardians called Stands awaken in Jonathan's descendants, consisting of Joseph, his daughter Holly Kujo, and grandson Jotaro Kujo. It's world-travelling vampir hunting time. Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable. Volumes 29-47, 174 chapters. In 1999, the Joestar family learns that Joseph has an illegitimate son, Josuke Higashikata, who lives in the fictional Japanese town of Morioh. A serious threat in the form of the Stand-using serial killer Yoshikage Kira. Part 5: Golden Wind. Volumes 47-63, 155 chapters. In 2001, in Naples, Italy, Giorno Giovanna is the son of Dio, conceived while he was in possession of Jonathan Joestar's body. Giorno seeks to become a mafia boss in order to eliminate drug dealers who sell their wares to children. His team, which consists of Stand users, must confront the mafia boss Diavolo and protect his daughter Trish Una, whom Diavolo intends to kill in order to hide his identity. Part 6: Stone Ocean - Volumes 64-80, 158 chapters. In 2011, near Port St. Lucie, Florida, Jotaro Kujo's daughter Jolyne Cujoh is framed for murder and sent to prison. She works together with other Stand-using prisoners and her father to hunt down prison chaplain Father Enrico Pucci, loyalist to Dio, who seeks the creation of a new universe shaped to his and Dio's will. With some anime, as the episode count progresses, the anime gets a new opening that is mostly the same song (sometimes some small changes) but with different visuals, usually representing some new developments in the story, like revealing the villain, or his abilities, or including a new twist that happened or simply removing a character that died and so on. This is why you sometimes see the same song multiple times.

JoJo has 6 animated seasons, each of which follow a different main character, all connected through the Joestar bloodline. Here are the parts: Part 1: Phantom Blood - UK, early to late 1880s - opening 1 Part 2: Battle Tendency - US and Italy, 1938-39 - opening 2 Part 3: Stardust Crusaders - Japan to Egypt 1988-89 - openings 3, 4 and 4.5 Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable - Japan, 1999 - openings 5, 5.5, 6, 7 and 7.5 Part 5: Golden Wind - Italy, 2001 - openings 8, 9, 9.5 and 9.99 Part 6: Stone Ocean - US, 2011 - last openings

The first 4 openings are all done in CGI by a studio called Kamikaze Douga. Since the first 3 parts minus part 2 did get some sort of prior adaptation, they probably decided to make them all special. The CG is insanely well done too. The actual show is all 2d animated. For the part 4 and 5 adaptation, the openings are back to the 2d artstyle the show itself is in. But for part 6, they brought back the CG for the op. Jojo openings usually have multiple versions. One is your standard version. There is a version with sound effects added in. And then there is minblowing version with the villians interrupting it. The last one feels immensely satisfying to watch when you know the context of the show. I would also highly recommend reacting to the endings as well. They are all great in their own rights.

Hirohiko Araki, the creator of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, is so prominent in anime and art culture that his artwork has been featured in the Louvre art museum in France and was used to promote several lines of fashion and accessories by GUCCI. The man's quite literally a living legend and is basically an immortal vampire because his age does is not reflected by his appearance. Equally as wild, the show is batshit insane and will occupy a lot of your headspace once you start watching it. Araki's art is not necessarily very good at giving closure between frames, but the dynamic poses and key frames always have staying power, which is why a lot of his characters and panels are so iconic. The show amplifies the manga by giving it closure AND it also adds a lot of sensory cues like character BGMs and fight themes that makes it even more badass. The series is so impactful that a lot of other anime series often pay homage to it and throw in references to it.

Starting off from part 3 every intro kinda evolves as the story progresses Forward. When you reach a certain point in the story things start to change in the opening that were not there before to further signify the big change in the story. For example a character getting a new ability. The second one for part 5 has 3 different versions that change at the very last section because of big twists in the story which could be comsidered the show trying to spoiler itself

Jojo is one of the stranger anime I've seen, as the show goes on it focuses on different descendants of the original JoJo in the first season. The story ranges from fighting vampires to being gangsters all the while mixing it supernatural abilities like those more powerful versions of themselves you seen. Its a good watch if not a little bizarre at times.

Nobody ever thinks jojo is going to be up their alley when thyere getting into it. but its such a well written masterpiece that you realize whats up your alley is just a good well written story. The show is about a bloodline of characters who all end up sharing the same nickname one way or another (Jojo) the show gets weirder and weirder as time goes on slowly easing you into the weirdness so as not to just lose you with its bizzareness. Without spoiling much* (these spoilers unless you get the context frm the show are completely undecipherable till after they occur): It starts off as a very normal show about manly man Jonathan Joestar and his adoptive brother Dio Brando. it goes from being a show about romantic drama to martial arts to vampires to evil vampire eating demigods to psuedo-physical spirit personas to a localized serial killer in a small unassuming town with secret superpowers to the italian mafia. And eventually the show could just intrduce you to a time traveling dinosaur and youd just think its perfectly normal and it may even be straight up expected because the show will set you up with progressively stranger expectations that it successfully meets every time.

Jojo is a very old and influential series. it started around 1985, the same year as dragon ball did and is still going today. The series is split up into different parts which all follow a character from the Joestar family from 1800s england to modern day. And as the name suggests, their journey are always very bizarre. The author, Hihoriko Arakai is also a vampire and never seems to age at all. The dude loves his western music. So, a lot of characters are given real life musician and song names which makes a great licensing nightmare for the western markets. The streaming sites get around that by just changing the subtitles entirely for those names. The 3rd part is considered the most popular and basically the blueprint for the rest of the series. The first two parts are important but they contaain their own power system that the rest of the series don't follow. There is a 90s OVA series for part 3 which took some creative liberty. it has some fantastic aesthetic though and is animated really well. Part 1 was supposed to get a movie but it was never really released out of its initial viewing. Even Araki hated it for just removing a lot of the part 1 material. We only have a very small trailer and some animatic for it surviving the internet. Jojo got a proper full adaptation starting from part 1 back in 2012 by Studio David Production and we are currently in Part 6 out of 9. Jojo is also a massive meme machine, partly due to how insane it can be, and partly due to how ass some of the early translations of the manga were. Part 4 translation is the peak of that. You probably heard of the ZA WARUDO meme at some point. The show also influenced a lot of fighting game characters like Guile and Rose in Street Fighters, and Beni in King of Fighters.

YAY Jojo!!! One of my favorites!!! So excited!!! I will say I am not sure if you'd like JoJo, even though it's definitely deserving of all the praise it gets. However, it's probably the most "anime" anime out there, and I find even a lot of hardcore anime fans find it too much. It's not a show I would suggest to a new anime fan, for this reason. Like, don't get me wrong, it's GREAT and I LOVE it, but for someone who is just discovering anime, I think it would be very confusing and probably not very enjoyable. I probably wouldn't have liked it myself if it had come out when I was just getting into anime. Of course if it interests you, go for it by all means, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised at all if you find it a little . . . much. XD XD XD

The best way I can describe the openings is, they're filled with references to the plot that's taking place for the portion of the anime where the openings are playing, and even after watching that portion it's hard to pick up on what they've shown you. Hell it took me watching videos dissecting the openings to start picking up on the references. They also highlight the tone of each part as well, surely people have already pointed out by now that each part follows a new generation of JoJo be they Grandson, Uncle, Cousin or daughter in the bloodline.

LETS GOOO Im glad you finally got to witness this masterpiece! JoJo's is by far one of the best animated stories and definitely one of my favorite animes of all time, I highly recommend watching it you will not regret it! JoJo's comes in parts, 6 of which are out currently (6 is still finishing up) and there are 8 completed parts in the manga each with their own protagonist (they are all JoJo in their own right) and associated characters, although despite that none of the characters are ever really gone. There is an actual comprehensive progression in the show that is best understood after finishing part 1 (arguably the slowest of the parts but by no means unenjoyable), but I can't say too much without spoiling it, it's a truly bizarre and worthwhile adventure!

My name is Old Bobby JoJo Bizzare. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

each season of jojo's is basically a new show following a different descendent in the joestar family. part 1 follows jonathan joestar, part 2 follows jonathan's grandson joseph joestar, part 3 follows joseph's grandson jotaro kujo, part 4 follows josephs illegitimate son josuke higashikata (technically a jojo because of the kanji or hiragana of how higashikata is spelled), part 5 follows.... jonathan and the part 1/3 villain dio brando's son giorno giovanna (it's complicated, but he's a jojo by blood and a brando by blood), and part 6 follows jotaro's daughter jolyne kujo, the first female jojo.

I can understand that you doesn't like every opening song of Jojo even myself not liking all of them but not that song is bad. Like you said different taste and opinion. Tho the song it self i can say the theme it fits each arc. So the song it's not bad exactly. Then about the show. If you like Shounen thing but more gruesome , disgusting with some horror inspire SH*t. Then Jojo is the place for you. The story' not that tragic as AoT. But it's well written each own story'. Since it has multiple protagonist on each arc (on Jojo's case it's called 'Part'). And yeah. It makes a lot of group who just like only for example only likes part 2. And dislike part 3 or the oppisite. It doesnt mean bad. It's like you said again with the sound track. Different taste and opinion. So each part of Jojo's has it's own taste. But the style writing and art still feel the same. This dude who create Jojo is the same since the source is from manga, like for example AoT is from manga. Means feel not visually same. It just if you already ride along watch Jojo you'll feel it "oh yeah this is Jojo's thing".
