Michelle Jagger is an icon! Saw them live in 82! U2 are icons! Been together 45 years I'm a rabid fan of U2! Seeing U2 live is more than phenomenal!!!!! In this video Bono is holding back for Jagger, Bono is one of the best frontman ever! Full of Charisma!

The Rolling Stones are great. They get some flack due to continuing to play late into their 70's, but the massive amount of incredibly good material they put out in their heyday is undeniable. "Paint it Black" "Sympathy for the Devil" "Tumblin Dice" "Beast of Burden" "Brown Sugar" The list of absolute classics is a mile long.

Mick has always been famous for his moves. I've seen the RS 7 times and they ROCK! But you should listen to the studio version it's so much better! Merry Clayton puts Fergie on the back burner!

This is one of Mick's biggest songs, no one was going to screw it up with him on stage... at the hall of fame. At one point Mick gives Bono a look that said, wow, you really can play a guitar. Respect both ways.

You got to do satisfaction right off the top from the stones that's probably their most famous hit other than the one you just saw. Now you two is a huge rabbit hole I would love for you to jump down some great ones you could check out when Love comes to town, one, city of blinding lights, sometimes you can't make it on your own, desire and pride

Sorry can't compare Fergie to Merry Clayton. She was called in the middle of the night pregnant came to the studio with no rehearsal and recorded the song. Check Merry Clayton Gimme Shelter isolated vocals

A note about the Stones....they'd visit small clubs in Chicago when they went to play there. Here there are at Muddy Water's Checkerboard Lounge about 2 years before Muddy Waters passed away. Mick is a little hesitant at first, but get's into his iconic form. This was back in the early days, circa 1981: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGSyo2qeqrR-bdE

Stones - Rocks Off, Stray Cat Blues, , Monkey Man, Loving Cup, All Down The Line, Soul Survisor, Good Time Women, 100 Years Ago, Doo Doo Doo, Little T&A.... so much to choose from. The greatest rock n roll band. You guys don't do enough rock n roll. You do rock or metal but those have no groove.

I’m not a huge Fergie fan but I don’t understand why so much hare is thrown at her. This was a live performance and she sounded good to me.
@lovetospreadtheword61393 жыл бұрын
Fergie really crushed it -- as she said later, she was totally in the rock moment and meeting Jagger's energy measure for measure... *but* like someone said earlier, Merry Clayton who sang on the original recording of Gimme Shelter ... Jagger would have to run to keep up if *she* was on stage! You gotta hear her tell the story -- like she said, she blew the Stones out of the room! You need to dig into the Stones much deeper. BTW Mick Jagger was about 70 yrs old when he performed this version of Gimme Shelter. Jagger is 77 now and still kickin ass. Don’t ever degrade Mick & The Stones with that mediocre “Moves Like Jagger” song. The Stones are soooo much better than Maroon-5. Mick IS the greatest rock front man of all time by far

I hope ppl my comment earlier downloaded 😜 But your daughter is talking about “Beautiful Day” from U2. I recommend you to “Ultraviolet”, but said to watch a lyric video, but you should watch the most watched live version, to also experience their connection to the audience. Please pay close attention to the lyrics. If you didn’t get my first comment, please message me and I tell you “ my story “ behind it. I don’t want to write it again

I'm soooo psyched you liked the recommendation. I usually don't love covers, but man this one is special. Fergie steals the show. When you made the "awkward" comment i thought you were going to say it was bc at the end it looked like Mick was chasing Fergie around with bad intent in his eyes (he's known as one of the all-time groupie connoisseurs). If you look at evolution of the blues headed from US originals in the 20's-40's then to the UK mid to late 60s, the Beatles loved the blues but you couldn't hear it in their music and the Rolling Stones were the first to make the rock/blues combo sound nasty! Love you guys. You're the most chill/real/best reactor(s) out there. Don't forget I like to hear the f-word thrown in the reviews now and then ;)

I have seen The Rolling Stones 8 times. Mick is so awesome live but I really do not like him on TV. The stones are a band that evolved live. It’s kind of like the difference of watching a play live and then watching it recorded. Somethings were great live but not so great on TV.

She butchered this really. Listen to the original with the Stones and Merry Clayton or a live version with the Stones and Lisa Fischer.

Prefer the original with Merry Clayton this doesn't have the the grit or haunting feel that the the original has, this has to much flash not enough substance for me. I mean it's ok though.
