I met my present wife in 1981 and in 1990 we married , both for the second time, and this is THE SONG we danced to all night long. I am now her caregiver as she has Alzheimers. She is non-verbal at this point, but when I put on the tunes she communicates to me with her beautiful eyes. She knows...... I cried this entire reaction, yes Marines do cry, Thanks BR

Ohhh, BR. Well,, that story made me cry for both of you! I’m so very sorry, that this scourge, of a disease has invaded your joy! I’m glad, this song, from Boz, is a way of communicating between you and your loving wife. It’s said the eyes are the windows to our souls, and wonderful music can be soothing to the spirit. Stay Well, Sir.

Boz Scaggs is another example of Blue Eyed Soul. I love this concert as he sings all of his hits throughout this concert. 'Look What You've Done to Me' was one of Scaggs' biggest hits from the Urban Cowboy soundtrack (1980)

Bozz's voice is not like soft butter or like honey. It is like peanut butter with honey. Just the right mix and texture. Steve Miller and Bozz Scaggs were classmates in Dallas, my hometown. Love them both

Jack Nicholson noted, in his hey day, that whenever he entertained a woman he always had Boz Scaggs music playing in the back ground. It worked for him. When Boz sings it's like butter. So smooth. He went to high school with Steve Miller and they started their first band together then. He is a prolific songwriter and seeing him in concert is a treat. Please keep exploring this rabbit hole as there are many more treasures to discover. And the two ladies at the end, Barbara and Monet, were quite the surprise.

"We're All Alone" is my favorite Boz Scaggs song. Which had two amazing versions, Boz's and Rita Coolidge at around the same time in 1977, but was originally recorded by Frankie Valli in 1976. I love Boz's version the most, the string arrangement alone on the studio recording is what makes the song! Add his smooth vocals that climb to amazing heights...it's chef's kiss!

I prefer Rita's version the best, but respect others opinions daily. That is his best written work though IMO

Really liking your showing your viewers who might not have been familiar with them how great talent like Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt, and Boz Scaggs are. Chances are, if they didn't know them and weren't fans before, they are now. Your reactions don't exactly hurt that. Great as always. Thank you.

Boz Scaggs covers 40 years of music here in the US starting with Steve Miller Band and striking out on his own.His work includes work with Booker T & the MGs including Steve Cropper formed as the house band of Stax Records, providing backing music for numerous singers, including Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding His first two albums go back to 1969 and 70 and were just titled Boz Scaggs, and his Slow Dancer were early albums. He left the US for some tours in England and around the area and came back and releases Silk Degrees and this song. "Slowdancer" is a real hit from one of his early albums but here is alive version a few years back. "As the Years Go Passing By " Boz Scaggs-Booker T and The MG's "Runnin Blue" Boz Scaggs 1971 " Cadillac Walk" Memphis Album 2013 "Moments" or "Painted Bells" from Moments Album "Loan me a Dime" featuring Duane Allman

Again... Another no name that just came out of nowhere, in the mid 70s. " Ledo Shuffle." Was one of his early Pop tunes, but the piece that brought him to the forefront was the song; " Dirty Lowdown. " That is my number One Bozz Scaggs tune. "Look what you've done to me, is my second favorite. This song holds a special place in my heart, as one of those I used to hear on late night radio in the dead of winter. Laying in bed with the winter winds howling outside, rattling the windows in the frame, keeping warm inside listening to the sounds of Boz in my darkened room, lighted only by the stereo dial and stereo components lighting up the room.

If you’re talking about lowdown he performed it on this concert,a tribute to Boz Scaggs greatest hits in 2004. You should check it out at some point. If I remember right the backup singers on the album didn’t do the solo at the end like this, I believe this was Boz giving them the spotlight because he probably heard them singing it in practice and loved it.
